The funny thing about OVA 8 allegedly being lewd is that I wouldn't even describe it as sexual in any way. It's a bunch of people standing around in the bath, not even acknowledging each other's nudity. Whereas certain other animes have the girl grinding on a guy's semi-erect junk. Speaking of that, this anime arc is heavily censored compared with the manga. In the manga, all of Tartaros' prisoners are stripped naked including Erza. Makes sense from a dehumanization perspective but may also stray into fetish territory when it came to Erza, so I don't mind the censorship in her case. I think it would be distracting and take away from what is happening on the show. The manga issues for these episodes is #366 and 367 if you're curious.

First, I’d like to say, this is the arc where Mashima clearly decided his characters hadn’t gone through enough trauma yet so everybody gets some more piled on. Like Oprah with her cars, everybody gets more trauma. Secondly, not confirming or denying anything, but without the 7 year time-skip, Gray would be in his mid to late 20s. I feel like a lot of people forget that they are 7 years behind in age where they should be once they make it past the GMG arc. Great reaction as always. 💕

I believe Gray was 17 and Natsu is 16 and Lucy is also 16 at the start of the show. Now Gray is 24/25 Natsu and Lucy 23/24 but physically they are still in the late teens
