Hey guys so I know there is Nagatoro coming back and Tokyo Revengers for January which I will be watching.

Also I am getting back into finishing Mob Psycho.

I just wanted to know if there was another weekly show in January worth checking out?

Comments

Geogii

Vinland saga x2

JamiUwU

Yeah but the issue is I haven’t even started it yet 😅

Ichigoat

yorozuya3835

You gotta check out nier automata it drops on January 7

Dennis Wålberg

I would highly recommend you start it when you need a new anime

MorRud

"Tomo-chan is a girl" is one I think you would like. It's about a tomboyish girl trying to get out of the (childhood) friendzone. The manga is hilarious and the anime starts in a couple of days.

Oliver Segelhorst

Vinland Saga would ne interesting since I also never watched it. However. I think Fairy Tail also deserves some more love if there is nothing really good this season XD

Drathian

When are you gonna react to Black clover?

Thorfinn45

Vinland saga GINTAMA

⚡ SHOCK ⚡

Jesus i didnt know Vinland Saga Part 2 was coming out 😳😳😳😳. Most anticipated. Probably more than Tokyo Rev.

Urusei Yatsura! Episode 12 airs this Thursday. (Did I also mention the VA for Nagatoro voices our main girl? 😌)

Alex Sah

The Eminence in Shadow is a good show, it's still currently airing.

C Stevens

You should check out Tomo-Chan is a Girl. The manga is really good and Crunchyroll is pushing the anime, so it should be good as well

⚡ SHOCK ⚡

Buddy Daddies [comedy/crime], SpyFamily vibes "This hitman team finds themselves looking after a five-year-old girl. And so begins the family life of a hot-blooded and cool-headed team of hired killers and a naive and innocent little girl. Will they be able to balance career and parenthood? And will this temporary family find happiness?"

Thorfinn45

Will you be watching gintama? It was ones at the voting poll and It's as funny as grand blue

TOOKIE

My hero academia. Stop playing around girl and get to it lol

JamiUwU

Yeah i plan starting it in January so I can post reactions in the beginning of February. That’s the plan at least

Samarone

My hero academia !!

RM4066

There’s an anime coming out called “The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten”. It seems to have a pretty intriguing plot/concept.

Mecca

Nagatoro 2nd season and Vinland Saga 2nd season.

Kevin Schomaker

Let's not forget about Misfit of Demon King Academy. That and Tokyo Revengers are my most anticipated shows of the winter.

B00ch

Nippah~

Bungou Stray Dogs, Vinland Saga and Danmachi are the ones that I am hyped for this winter

Gjermund

Thorfinn45

will you be reacting to Lord El-Melloi II's Case Files it's a sequel to fate/zero and prequel to fate/stay night

Eddi3 Th3 H3ad

I know I recommended this before, but watch Harley Quinn, the comedy one on HBO max. It's really funny. Or if you're looking for live action, watch Doom Patrol. Weird show but entertaining

Merfhew

***TL;DR = We should only be suggesting January 2023 shows*** Just as a reminder, she's specifically gauging interest for NEW shows.  This is an exact quote: "I just wanted to know if there was another weekly show in January worth checking out?" In other words, if your recommendation ISN'T airing new episodes during the Winter 2023 anime season, you should probably hold off on suggesting it.  After she's finished watching Mob and/or Sinbad, she'll be looking for other show recommendations... and when that time comes, I'll have some suggestions of my own. :)

Merfhew

I can't guarantee that this will show you every Winter 2023 (and ongoing) anime series, but it's a good resource.  Keep in mind that some of these shows *MIGHT* not have an official Western release yet. https://www.livechart.me/winter-2023/tv

NST

You should watch the rest of the BLEACH movies, should be fun

Jacob Mueller

Tomo-Chan is a girl is supposed to be an interesting seasonal one to come out

JT

Vinland Saga

Merfhew

I'm looking forward to your Tokyo Revengers (S2) reactions! As for other January shows, I'll be watching Vinland Saga (S2), Bungo Stray Dogs (S4), and Misfit of Demon King Academy (S2).  Unfortunately, you'd have to play catch up for those shows... I don't normally make recommendations before watching something, but these are the "new" shows I have my eyes on (listed in no particular order). ---------------------- [JP Name] Tondemo Skill de Isekai Hourou Meshi [EN Name] Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill [Air Date] January 10th [Studio] MAPPA [Reason] I normally skip light novel isekai shows, but MAPPA has a good track record.  I'm tentatively interested. ---------------------- [Name] Trigun Stampede [Air Date] January 7th [Studio] Orange [Reason] Trigun is a classic, so I'm interested in seeing what this new show will be like.  Considering how popular the series is, I'm expecting this will be a big one. Whether it's a big hit, or a big flop, we'll have to wait and see! ---------------------- [Name] Buddy Daddies [Air Date] January 7th [Studio] P.A. Works [Reason] The premise sounds interesting, and the main characters caught my eye.  This show might be up your alley, Jami.  There's no manga or light novel to base my expectations on, but it looks promising. ---------------------- [JP Name] Hikari no Ou [EN Name] The Fire Hunter [Air Date] January 14th [Studio] Signal.MD [Reason] The premise sounds interesting, and the show has two big names attached. The director is Junji Nishimura, and the writer is Mamoru Oshii. I've never read the novels, but I have high expectations! Junji Nishimura worked on shows like Glasslip, Ranma, Samurai Deeper Kyo, and Urusei Yatsura (1981). Mamoru Oshii worked on shows / movies like Ghost in the Shell, Dallos, and Urusei Yatsura (1981). ----------------------

s2n08

Either Vinland saga or Eminence in Shadow or Black Clover to replace a longer series

Edgez

Mmmm what's your thoughts on My Hero?

BaBorrow

- BOFURI (Season 2) - NieR: Automata - Spy Classroom - Kubo-san wa Mob wo Yurusanai - My Life as Inukai-san's Dog

John L

How about finish seven deadly sins finale

20 16

Yall love mid shows so much

Big Boss

I don’t know if this counts. How about Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun? Currently airing it third season.

The Silver Wolf

Is it wrong to try to pick up girls in a dungeon

ANDROID

Nope lol

Albee98

I'm really excited for Nier it's based off a game and the game is amazing.

Cabo Boose

Have you ever watched any Star Wars stuff? If so you could always try watching the Mandalorian

popobopo

Lovely complex

Merfhew

@Andrew Perez - ???

Orlando

will you finish up komi??

Pacific Caleb

Kubo-san, Bocchi the rock (from last season), also Iruma is pretty good but idk if you want tocstart it since it's 3 season deep.

Sean Green

I would like to recommend Bofuri, the second season will be airing this month. If you like female overpowered characters, but done in a comedic way; then I highly recommend you check it out when you have the time.

Random58

Vinland Saga

JasonEvo

My suggestions are basically season 2 like Bofuri or By the grace of the gods. As for new ones Tomo-chan and Buddy daddies I am looking forward to. Also any updates with Komi?

Dalton Skaggs

You should check out Bungo Stray Dogs. The story is incredible, the animation is Fire, and season 4 of it is being animated this year!!!

Ray

its so weird that this happens every season "hey guys i have too many animes to react to and i am picking up 3 more animes, that being said what OTHER animes would you like me to react to?" i watch new animes too and dont really mind personally whatever videos release but it sounds so silly to me :)

Nexs

Vinland Saga, no doubt

ZERO

Haikyuu and Code Geass.

332NoChip

Vinland Saga and Nier Automata

Ali Cat

How about Carole and Tuesday on Netflix? The music is fantastic and you might have copyright issues on YouTube so maybe it could be a patreon only series 😅 I personally preferred this anime dubbed aswell since all the songs are in English, even if you watch the Japanese subbed

Tristram

Adventures of Sinbad plss

Seba29

I recommend you watch Carnival Phantasm and and laugh with the characters of Fate Stay Night

⚡ SHOCK ⚡

Spy Classroom Tomo Chan is a girl

Sayyongtou

since u used to play tennis... have u ever considered watching a tennis anime? sports animes imo are fun to watch.

ANDROID

1. That was not a TLDR. 2. it’s not like she’s gonna abide by that rule, I mean look at Stranger Things. 3. Urusei Yatsura is an interesting exception because although it started in Fall, new episodes are airing this month (it took a week off for NYE).

Chris

FOOD WARS!

Thorfinn45

good luck girl d.gray-man
