FLASHGITZ FRIDAY 10/09 (Patreon)

BROTHERS!!! Welcome back to FLASHGITZ FRIDAY! The only place you can get your grubby little fingers on some juicy Space King secrets. You’re in luck, because today’s blogpost has lots of secrets, so promise you’ll keep these things between us, okay? 

Let’s kick things off with what you’re all piled in here for: SPACE KING 6!

Space King 6 is crawling ever closer to completion! The whole team has been continuously toiling, trying to make this episode the best one so far. Well, mostly everyone… Here’s your first secret: just between us, I think some departments MIGHT have been slacking off lately, especially our background guys. I think this is because they ALREADY FINISHED ALL THE BACKGROUNDS FOR EPISODE 6! We’ll make them sweep floors or something while they wait for more shit to do (or maybe we’ll have them start episode 7 teehee.)

Everyone else has been hard at work for this episode, including COMPOSITING! That’s right, here’s our other little secret: our compositing department, the guys who are responsible for combining all the separate elements of a scene, have already gotten to work! Compositing scenes means that we have our first glimpses at the finished cartoon! But don’t start foaming at the mouth just yet. There’s still a lot of work to be done, like more animation, special posing, and assets, but at least now you guys can see some of the nearly-finished fruits of our labor!

WOW! Are you excited?! I know I am! But we still need to wait, brothers, for this episode still demands more blood. But if you have a hard time waiting like I do, there’s always the TOM AND DON CHANNEL!

This Saturday on Tom and Don, we review the cult-classic film SMALL SOLDIERS! Is it the greatest piece of film ever created? Yes! But for all the wrong reasons. Apparently you’re NOT supposed to root for the warmongering bad guys who are trying to decimate the peaceful alien race? This movie was also a big inspiration for Space King, so if you like Space King, you’re legally obligated to check this one out!
