Commissions Overhaul – Changes to Commissions and its Tiers (Patreon)

The following will take effect in August 2025, and will affect all $5 tier patrons, new and existing. For the other tiers eligible for commissions, some changes may affect you as well. tl;dr at the bottom of this post.

Changes(?) to the Commission Calls

This isn't so much "changes" as it is a confirmation on how the Commission Calls will be done from here onwards. As we all have seen, I've picked up commissions in January, March and May, usually overflowing to the next month, and wrapping them up then.

My work schedule no longer affords me to conduct Commission Calls every month, so I try to raise a Call every two months, but I am ridden with guilt when the amount of commissions I can accommodate are just that many, with so many of you around.

In short, Commission Calls are now every two months. If I find myself very available after an initial Call, a second Call after the first one will be extended within the same "month".

There will be a call this month under the current system, but $5 Tier members should read on.

Changes to the $5 Tier

From this August, the $5 Tier will be dropped from the eligible tiers for the Commission Calls.

This is to kinda coax new and existing members to go for a higher tier or pick up a Ko-fi commission when they can, to fast-track a commission claim, so members seeking commissions don't have to wait around and get burned when commission slots are taken up.

However, $5 tier members who have hung around and contributed over the course of 10 months, will still be eligible to pick up a commission through the secondary No Patrons Left Behind (NPLB) program that this Patreon includes. This was previously kept at 12 months. 

This change will be effective for all current $5 tier members, so please reach me if you haven't gotten a commission over the past 10 months, and in the following months counting up to 10.

$5 tier members will still have access to Suggestive Sneak Peeks and Pin-ups, as well as knowing you're supporting my work a little more.

What this means for Tiers $10 and $30+

$10 tiers get to be eligible for commissions more often, and very little changes for $30+ tiers, who have always been eligible for commissions every month they're eligible except when they're not. The current Commission Calls system remains in place for these members.

Other Changes

I've taken the time to rewrite some aspects of this Patreon to align with this update to how commissions work, and to clean up some of the descriptions. These will replace the current descriptions over time until August 1st, 2025.

tl;dr

Commission Calls have taken place every two months for the past few, and moving forward, this pattern will continue. $5 tier patrons are no longer part of commission calls, but can still get commissions via NPLB every 10 months of contributions, unless they switch to a higher tier, or get a commission via my ko-fi.
