2026 and Beyond (Patreon)

Well, let's just say that I'm glad that 2025 is OVER. Fucking worst year ever. It also decide to leave me with a parting gift: my truck has an oil leak. I don't know where it's coming from other than it's the back of the engine somewhere. And this of course means more $$$$.

So that leads me to trying to figure out what to do about the schedule. With the truck having a potentially very expensive repair coming up ( $1000+ for a rear main seal repair), I will probably have to do another comm-a-thon. But I'm hoping that will only take a week, and later in January.

Let's talk about the Kaerwyn Comic. That's why most of you are here, anyway. I have started Issue 23. I have finished pages 2-5, and #6 is sketched with dialogue on it. Now I know some of you guys are probably thinking "Wait, I'm the 'post when done tier', why haven't I seen it?" Well, the art is finished, but some of the rest isn't. We've changed the dialogue a bit a few times. We didn't have the title up until a day or so ago. And I haven't had time to work on the cover image at all. That's page 1. That really needs to get posted first. I normally don't do the pages out of order like that, but it's easier to work on the comic pages than the cover and I don't have any time to waste.

So my schedule for January is probably going to look something like this:

Once page 6 is done, that's two weeks of buffer. I'd like to get through page 12 done before I start posting. But I will have to stop to do commissions. I had originally intended to do the K-comic the first three days of the week, commissions on Thur-Friday, then commissions the last full week. That might be the running schedule from now on.

I'm still on One-Day-At-A-Time mode, seems like every week there's a new crisis, more bullshit. My mom is not getting my dad's survivor benefits from Social Security, so I might need to regularly send her payments to stay afloat until that mess gets worked out.
