The time shift between characters makes rational sense to me - if you were going to hide the Dreakons safely you'd want them as far apart as possible, but just within tangible reach.

I dont remember so well, but doesn't lore talk to a big feral katief at some point telling her big story of how she got immortal and stuff, it was a short few panels about it after one of lores larger arcs in Black Tapestries.
