So today I was doing prep work for the upcoming last episode for my slice-of-life visual novel Don't Flex On Me Yumi-Chan!!! and I re-did every in-game sprites for Yumi, based on the new art I received from artist Chayon.

And honestly? I was looking at Yumi's art and I fell in love all over again with the character. She looks so lovely AND lively this time around, and I had this irresistible urge to share this new fascination with you guys.

I ended up making a wallpaper as a joke, and figured you might get a kick out of it.

Protect that smile. Set it as background art on your devices. Do it for her.

You can download the (landscape only) wallpaper in different sizes by clicking here.

So yeah, basically, I am working towards finishing the final episode of the game. I am still conflicted, because this last episode does NOT have an H Scene planned as content. It really is a romance-first chapter. I suppose it might anger a few of you, but I am racing against time, trying to get the game finished before the end of the year, with a tentative release date of right before the holidays. I do have an idea for one last scene, but we'll see what I can do to make it work, if I can at all.

I'll have to set up the store pages rather soon, too. Ugh, there's still a lot of work to do before we can reach that release state. Oh well, such is the life of a one-person dev team.

I've begun my annual horror movies marathon for the spooky season. We watched The Stepford Wives and Tremors so far, and I have gotten my hand on the box sets for both Friday The 13th and Nightmare on Elm Street series, so there is a lot of cool stuff to look forward to, up until Halloween.

Do you have any Fall traditions of your own? I think it's important to have personal rituals and events to mark the passage of the year, you know?

I'll be back soon with more news from Yumi and friends in the coming weeks. Until then, stay safe out there!
