A Time to Kill (1996) Full Length Reaction!

Hey patrons, this is Zay and Cam's Full Length Reaction to the movie "A Time to Kill"!

It’s been awhile since I’ve seen this one and I forgot how good it is. From 1993-2003 they made a whole series of legal thriller movies based on John Grisham novels all with star studded casts. I’m pretty sure this was the most brutal one and they all deal with different situations. This movie made Matthew a movie star. His casting was controversial because he was the least famous person out of the cast. You had good reason for not liking the judge. You last saw that actor as the king in Braveheart.

Great reaction! Your commentary was thoughtful and BONUS we got to hear your Mickey Mouse impressions! This is a rare instance where a movie actually lives up to the book. I saw this in the theater and during Jake’s summation, you could hear a pin drop despite the theater being packed with people. To me, that summation scene was one of the most powerful and emotional scenes I’ve seen in any movie. Oh, and I agree about Keifer lol. He always plays the prick, but I really like him as an actor.

James Jackson

Don't think you noticed, but one of Tonya's attackers is the same guy who played Percy in The Green Mile. He was always good at being a sleazy guy.
