have y'all seen "remember the titans" - it's been one of my favorite movies for ages now and i always watch it a couple times a year. it's just really really well done IMO and really doesn't shy away from how things were. it's a disney movie but not one i can see disney putting out today, and that's pretty sad. such a brilliant movie!

it's tied as one of my favorites with stand by me and little miss sunshine. since you've already done stand by me, i'm crossing my fingers that you'll check out these two someday.

A bit of trivia here. This was Spencer Tracy’s final film. He was actually quite ill during filming. So much so that the Studio had trouble insuring him. Spencer Tracy passed away before the movie came to the theaters. This movie also came out the same year that interracial marriage became legal in all states. Before that it was illegal in multiple states. For this reason, this movie is groundbreaking.
