this episoede, unfortunately, was not appreciated as much because of the slowdown of action.. but.. it shows the humanity of these guys.. and a wanting to feel.. "normal'.. and "loved" ... and also.. to "love" ... because to balance the horror of what they have experienced. and to have a 'normal' happy life.

" I can not Love you, because you are A US marine, I could lose you..would break my heart, so..good bye" ..( WTF?!)

On the youtube video at 5min12sec, that is our main train station, Flinders Street Station, (our equivalent of grand central station) here in Melbourne Australia. It still basically looks the same as it's heritage listed. They just keep painting, repairing it and use modern lighting. The part of Aussie , USA troops arguing, fighting made me think - save it for the others (Japanese). But I think it was a combination of pride, not liking usa people bossing us around, frustration, fear of what's to come, not like usa guys coming and "taking" (being attractive to) the ladies. But it's true , without USA, UK, Australia, New Zealand, other countries, many Asian countries and locals working together Japan would have continued to dominate, control Asia, Australasia, Pacific. I just hate all wars. To many people die, get injured, are affected whether either side, whether a soldier or civilian
