Not for me. I’ve said it before on your streams, but I am NOT a horror guy, especially gore. I’ll still let the videos play on YouTube to help with the algorithm, but it’ll depend on if I’ve seen the movie or not.

Thank you!! This is hands down not just my favorite horror movie, but my all time favorite movie!. Going to watch now! A few times

Fun fact: there’s no copyright on this movie, so you could actually just play it.

To answer your B&W question. Movies in the 60s were still frequently in Black and White. Color film technology goes back to the 1930s but the cameras, film and equipment were saved for big budget productions. Lower budget or movies without advanced effects or cinematography were usually Black and White.

It was also considered kind of tacky to make a “serious” adult movie in color back then, especially in the 40’s and 50’s. It’s kind of the equivalent to a 3D movie today, reserved mostly for big blockbuster Marvel movies and stuff like that.

Jonathan

Great reaction. I think this movie shocked you multiple times more than I’ve seen other ones do. Another great B&W horror movie from this time period is Village of the Damned. A more complex story with an even more terrifying villain. You can see some influences from that movie in this.

You know, it’s weird—your copy kept getting ahead of mine, and I had to constantly adjust. Also, you didn’t have to blur the video, because this movie isn’t copyrighted. It’s part of public domain.
