A Long Air Taxi Ride on Coruscant (Patreon)

Medium: A4 Sketch Pencil + Digital

Rationale:

This piece was my first work after my decision to return to making art, all the way back last year. As such it's rough in ways that I don't really like, but I kept plugging at it and then it just sat in my folio as I worked on other pieces and writing. It got to the point where I realized I had fallen into the old artist trap of never finishing something because I wanted to get it 'right'.  An artist generally never 'finishes' a work. We strive for perfection, but it's impossible to get... so we just decide, 'Enough' and move on. This is also now my first true hybrid of physical and digital art, done with pencil on paper, then with a mouse on PC. Yes, it's entirely possible to use just a mouse to create art, which I'm going to master.

I used a more cartoony reference for Ahsoka and she's younger here. Early story and not as 'buff'.
