Hello dear patrons,

I wanted to make you an offer. Two comics I will never post, and why I'll never post them, in exchange for unlocking the first 11 updates of EDEN Season 1 ( up to them Truffle & Mia getting the radio ) + the first 11 updates of You Are the Guy ( up to us meeting The Mountain Bastard for the first time ) to the Public setting here.

I was just making a patreon ad and trying to cram as many preview panels into it as I could and got to thinking "dang, I'm really asking potential patrons to take a plunge here into something they don't know anything about. shouldn't I give them a preview?"

So, this plan is my attempt to do that! Currently I don't see a reason to make it rolling or anything (with more updates being made free as we go), but I guess I'll take y'all's advice on that.

Looking at it now, tbh I would've felt better about posting the first cuz it's got more fun artwork, and because the second one strafes a bit too close to just being boring moralization. The We ♥️ Haters cake is funny tho.

It's not that I had never seen this comic, but I just didn't have it in mind as I was making mine. Somebody replied with KC's and I was like "aaah shit" and deleted it just a few min after posting.

I know I've just handed you a CD "for free" and then asked for $5 for it like a hustler in the New York subway, but in this case you are actually free to decline -- if the overwhelming response is "no, keep it completely locked because that's how it was pitched to us," I will respect that.

Do what you want. Seriously. It doesn't affect me. Why would it? It's like in WoW, if new players can suddenly get their imps without having to quest for them then that doesn't change or invaldiate the previous experience and enjoyment I had.

Quick Fix

I think some previews are perfectly fine. It’s a great way to entice people to join. You could even post most stuff eventually and have Patrons get it first and be able to vote on what happens, but I could see that making some people upset.

I think this is an excellent idea. I subscribed mostly blind because I knew I wanted more of your content but I think some previews would be really good.

You do what you gotta do. I'll be honest, I've been up for like 40 hours and didn't understand what's going on but I do understand you want more patrons so do the thing that gets you patrons. You'll always have my 5$

Absolutely. I think getting a taste of what you could get would make the idea of paying for Patreon easier for the people who may be on the fence currently

Post away my dude. The coolest part about being a patron, as far as the eden series goes, is being part of the hive mind that makes the choices. I'd even be fine with it being a rolling public release, if you thought that would get you more patrons.

Well, the choices for those have already been made so they can taste how this went and maybe join taking futher decisions and impact the story better knowing what they might go for. I'm up for it. Also it's nice to see never released comics before. I kinda agree with 1st one statement that it might be misunderstood.

I mean, you're still making more content in the future for these pick your next move type adventures so I'm sure it's okay. I would also suggest using the Bliz comic as an ad too though, since it's effectively the same thing.

I think do a sample of one comic but not both. I wouldnt give them too much all at once… Maybe release it weekly as a preview up to a certain point then, blam! Pay wall! Hahaha
