Happy New Year! Akira Kurosawa was a very famous Japanese filmmaker. George Lucas borrowed a lot of ideas, plots, and film techniques from Kurosawa movies. I don't think there would be star wars without Kurosawa. This whole episode is the plot of the Akira Kurosawa movie "Seven Samurai" (1954). The Americans remade it into the cowboy movie "The Magnificent Seven" (1960) which is also good. Then there's the Chris Pratt/Denzel Washington remake of the Magnificent Seven from 2016 which is fine, I guess.

Happy new year guys!!! Fun fact about this episode: Embo was originally supposed to die in this episode, but after seeing how much fans loved his character, they changed it so he ended up surviving so he could make possible future appearances🫣🤭

Fun fact, Sugi, the female Bounty Hunter, is a female Iradonian Zabrak, from the planet Iradonia. They differ from the female Dathomiran Zabraks from Dathomir because they have spikes like the males do.

Hondo Ohnaka is easily one of the best characters to come out of the clone wars. He can be funny, scary, your worst enemy or your best friend. Maybe my favorite Pirate character in anything.

He is also voiced by the one and only Dave Filoni
