Injustice 2: Chapter 10

Phantom Penance

One must point out this is the SECOND time that Green Arrow was mind controlled. He’s just not that smart is he? 😂 Just as Billy Batson was chosen to be Shazam by the Wizard, Black Adam was also chosen to be the Mighty Adam. But Adam corrupted his powers and used them to proclaim himself a god centuries before Billy was born. So Black Adam is Shazam’s polar opposite in every regard: he’s an old man in a young body, while Shazam is a young kid in an older body.

I was waiting for this, not only with us getting to see Aquaman and Black Adam work together and for you to see how Gorilla Grodd's telepathy works on people. But also seeing Superman's return at the end. I have said it before but I do really recommend you watch Variant Comics' History of Shazam video and their History of Black Adam video so that you can finally understand both characters and how they are connected. They are both really interesting characters and while their powers are essentially the same, they are as Phantom Penance said, polar opposites of each other and their origins of how they got their powers are different. You'll also learn why they both say Shazam to access their powers. I don't want to explain it here cause both those videos do a good job doing it. So hopefully you'll react to them on stream at some point soon and maybe post them here after. I do like how in his chapter with Aquaman, he's obviously playing more of an anti hero and while he has been an anti hero in the comics, he is definitely still a villain, especially to Shazam/Captain Marvel. But I'm so excited for you to finish the story of this game and then finally get to the other parts of the game like the other super moves, the intros/clashes (which mind you there are so much more of them and the intros and clashes are two separate things), and each character's arcade endings. There's only I think a few chapters left and I can't wait!

One thing about Grodd is he really only cares about HIMSELF!!! He'll lie to others to use them as pawns in his own plans for himself, just as he was using The Society as expendable pawns. Also its a good thing Supergirl is still the hopeful one here unlike that alternate Superman in that Injustice world.

Also looking at the video you are watching. It does combine the last chapter as one seem less chapter as compared to a certain perspective depending on who you pick but it doesn't show all the endings as it only shows you the good ending. Hopefully you see the other story ending cause it will be interesting to see your reaction to it
