I just wanna give Jason Todd a hug. 😭Edit: so sorry y'all, this was listed as Death in the Family because I was instructed to read that comic first (I didn't have time but will soon). I knew it was the first movie to watch, and kept googling the order in which to watch them because the comic order is different lol. But luckily, it's the correct order, I just said the wrong name!

You should go back and play the interactive death in the family! Watching you make the choices for Batman would be fun. If nothing else even if you don’t record it watch the very last scene in the diner and the DC Shorts that come with it. The Strange short leads into the Green Lantern Movie Beware my Power so I definitely recommend that one

Omg I’m so ready to watch this! Of all of the DC movies I was waiting for you to watch, this was definitely one of the ones I was anticipating the most. Ohhh I’m excited to see it but yeah this is one of the best Batman movies. Jason as Red Hood is a fan favorite in the fan base and I’ve seen people cosplay as him in conventions. I do recommend reading some of his solo comics one day. I love the cast. Jensen Ackles killed it as Jason knowing he would voiced Bruce in Long Halloween. Bruce Greenwood did a good job as Bruce. He sounded like Kevin Conroy yet he made it his own. John DiMaggio as Joker is in my top 3 voices of the character next to Troy Baker & Mark Hamill. Neil Patrick Harris as Nightwing was fitting because he voiced Spidey once and both are wise crackers. A good adaption of the Red Hood storyline. In the comics, Bruce & Jason did eventually made amends and Jason became a ally to the Bat Family & fall under the anti hero category because he still kills people depending if they deserve it. ^^ Now you’ve met three of the four main robins which leaves one more which I know you’ll meet one day. ☺️

Neuro Divergent brain was on fire trying to decipher all this, lol. Not an excuse, IK, but danG, brain bad sometimes. This said, could you please, when it's convenient for you/you have time, change the title to Under The Red Hood? Again, I apologize <3

I'm pretty sure its Under the Red Hood and yea they have the Death in the family film also on HBO max with bruce narrating thats also very good

Thanks bud, I was so scared/bummed, when I got the first noto, thinking she'd watched these out of order. Not to mention quite weirded/confused when Death In The Family 2020 would not sync-up, lol.

You're right no parent is perfect and i like how they show that with Batman, like take Alfred he was just the family butler then had to learn to be a parent to bruce who had no one else and all this money. Its just interesting to see all the different sides to it and you'll learn more about Dicks past in the animated show but just the end scene of this film says a lot, Bruce did the best he could and he loves his sons just I don't think he fully knows how to express what he wanted to say to Jason at the end, he said he wanted to save him, but Jason just wants him to understand

As somebody else stated, you will find out more about Dick's past in BTAS. One thing to note about that show however is that his reasoning for becoming Nightwing is quite different compared to what it is normally.

That was a perfect watch along. ı just cried with you. this was great Meg, thank you. by the way black mask used to be having just a mask but on some operation he caught in fire or an explosion that melt the mask onto his face.

Dick had both parents initially, and seamlessly transitioned from a biological family to an adoptive one. Jason was a street kid that Bruce adopted and groomed as his soldier. Definitely, some huge differences between the two. This is my favorite DCAU film, and you did it much justice.

Not Mark Hamill. John DiMaggio, otherwise known as Bender from Futurama or Wakka from Final Fantasy X. He's got a lot of range, eh? Another tragic story spawned, like The Killling Joke, by the Joker's realization that doing horrible, horrible things to Batman's friends and family hurts him far worse than any physical injury.
