I love that Joker's plans don't always have to make sense for him to be a problem for batman lol and its pretty dark I'd say he poisons all sea life pretty much and nearly kills 2 people like the animation of their eyes buldging out of there skull and the big smiles was creepy asf

Vanilla Joker episode, but there's plenty of value in it. Once again Bullock is working with his longtime nemesis Batman in lieu of Robin, while Joker's own sidekick starts to show signs of stress from how badly he treats her- a good lead into Harley and Ivy. The entire bit with the shark tank is lifted from a noteworthy issue of the comics where Joker ends a long streak of pretending to be a mere harmless prankster by suddenly murdering 5 people with novelty items, so it fits with him being a bit more vicious than usual here.

YESSS, this is my favorite Joker episode besides the Christmas special. So much fun, and Harley is great too. x3

I like Bullock. He can be lazy and rude, but he is a good cop and he figured out Joker's hiding place faster then Batman. Joker is such a jolly maniac, as usual, haha.

This was always one of my favorite episodes! Kevin Conroy, Mark Hamill, and Arleen Sorkin really knock this one out of the park. And the animation, music, and writing are A+++. Just such a good episode all around This one is actually based on a couple of Joker stories from the 70s: The Laughing Fish by Steve Englehart and Marshall Rogers and Joker’s 5 way Revenge by Dennis O’Neil and Neal Adams (the runs of both those teams are amazing and I think heavily influenced the animated series)
