This movie singlehandedly cured sexism

Edit: that was a joke BUT there were parts I really enjoyed and I can't wait to keep learning about Diana!

Yeah this was not one of DC’s best films but still enjoyable but the dialogue is well yeah..I did cringe with you while watching it lol. Despite that, I think it was a good jumping off point for you to get to know Diana and her side of the DC universe. Wonder Woman stories are more about (to quote your friend Ruby on your discord) are about heroism but yeah the 2000’s was a weird time. In terms of this version of Steve Trevor who Chris Pine played & Diana’s main love interest, was kind of out of character here. In the comics and other iterations, he is not much of a player and does flirt with Diana like calling her “Angel” but NOT to the extend of what they did in this film. He respects her and the two have a good relationship which the Gal Gadot movie showed.

Yeah this movie was kind of okay among DC’s movies but not the greatest. Certain parts definitely felt forced and the writing in general just could’ve been so much better. But I am glad that you now know some things about DC’s Trinity (Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman). I can’t wait for you to check out the other DC projects that Wonder Woman is part of cause she’s depicted way better in those than in this movie. However the movies you mentioned you plan on watching next, Superman: Doomsday and The Dark Knight Returns Part 1 and 2, those are fantastic movies. The Dark Knight Returns especially is a phenomenal movie. I’d say it’s probably top 3 or 5 of my favorite Batman movies next to Under the Red Hood. So I can’t wait for your reactions to both movies!

I never did see this movie I just heard it wasn't liked very much but there's tons of DCAU content for wonder woman and all the characters I'd say this is still a good point to point of knowing the basis of Wonder woman's character and her life and learning more about the magic mystical side of DC (: and DC takes a lot of inspiration from Greek mythology

As a huge Wonder Woman fan, I can say that unfortunately, there isn't a lot of good content for her outside of the comics. I really don't like this movie, and she isn't explored very much in the Justice League show, she also doesn't have an animated series like Bruce and Clark do. Honestly, the best adaptation of her outside of the comics is probably the 70's Lynda Carter show. If you're interested in the comics, I highly recommend picking up Wonder Woman by George Perez vols. 1-6, I think it is the best place to start. If you're interested to learn about her real life origins I recommend The Secret History of Wonder Woman by Jill Lepore, which goes into the crazy hidden life of her creator, William Moulton Marsten.

Yeah this was definitely the origin story of Wonder Woman this animated movie was showing. Ya know Hippolyta should've realized a long time ago that the outside world has changed and not ALL men were bad like Ares. If she had then Persephone wouldn't have been manipulated by Ares so easily.
