The Amazing Webhead

This was something I was waiting for you to see. This movie is based on the iconic comic book storyline, “The Death of Superman” which was a big deal when it came out. This was a story where we meet one of Clark’s deadliest foes, the monster known as Doomsday. The only thing that killed Superman. Well temporally but it was insane and sad. The scary part is after their battle in the comics, Doomsday came back and now has the ability to not die from what killed him so often Clark or the Justice League finds ways to trap him or send him away. The only thing that wasn’t in the movie was the other heroes that tried to stop Doomsday and attend Clark’s funeral but I suppose they wanted to focus on Clark as it’s his movie.

It's about time! I know this one must've been very thrilling for you as it was for me. Lois Lane always did know Superman better than anyone, just as she did in this movie when Lex Luthor cloned him after his death from that deadly battle with Doomsday. Also I say that sick Toyman got what he deserved after he killed that poor little girl. However the way that clone was acting was exactly what Batman has always feared about the real Superman. At least after it was all over Superman finally told Lois he was Clark at the end.

My older brother bought 4 or 5 of the death of superman comic books in 1993. Those comics were a pretty big deal at the time. He bought one comic to read and the others to keep unopened as collectors items. As a dumb 9 year old kid around the year 2000 I opened two of these death of superman comics from their original packaging ruining any resale value. My brother was so angry. Fortunately the death of superman comics are pretty much worthless as collectors items since everyone bought multiple copies in 93. They're not rare at all. Anyway I always found the whole story pretty funny.

This is based off of 3 back to back to back storylines in the early 90s called The Death of Superman, World Without a Superman, and The Reign of Supermen. And in in the comics, he keeps the long hair for a few years lol. Yeah, this is a good adaptation of that story, but I think they did it better a few years later when they broke it up into 2 films (The Death of Superman and The Reign of the Supermen). I think that latter version was closer to the comics. But yeah, it’s good stuff! As for my dark self… idk, probably something Jokeresque too lol

It’s actually kind of funny that u happened to watch two Superman films in a row in which he dies in both lol. Only thing I can promise is that most of the other films aren’t as grim

fun fact, there was a time in comics lex created a cure for cancer, cured his sister, then gave her cancer again just to prove he could. lex is absurdly smart, but an asshole with a god complex Also some facts about doomsday, he was created as an evolutionary experiment, and developed basically an instinct for pure destruction, he lives only yo kill and destroy everything. when doomsday is killed, he will slowly, eventually resurrect with an evolutionary leap that makes it so he cant be killed the same way again, so in comic version, he would've eventually come back and superman wouldn't be able to kill him with that suplex from orbit
