I love seeing how everyone just interprets batman in all these different stories from the kids perspective, to the Cops working with Gordon and just hearing Kevin conroy's voice work again for this is great, I love the music in the scarecrow one a lot ^^ and the Pain one is so deep, these are all deep but the pain one has lots of layers, bruce wanting to learn from a culture he doesn't fully know and then the teacher having such a unique mindset cause of what she's been through just lots to think about

I'm so glad you watched this before TDK, as it's a great lead up to it. Really like how each short story has a thread leading into the next: The high-tech robber from Have I Got A Story For You is brought to Arkham in Crossfire. The gang war in Crossfire is stopped in Field Test. Teresa Williams' assassin in Field Test is Deadshot, etc. My favorite is probably Working Through Pain. Wasn't sure if you'd catch the metaphor at the end. As to your question, six different animation studios were given a chance to work on it, with Studio Madhouse (Hellsing) having the most recognizable style in Deadshot. Really wanted to see another film like this set between TDK and TDKR.

so each of the 6 parts was animated by a different anime studio, meaning all 6 of these parts are technically anime, my favorite is the 3rd one where bruce chooses to not have bullet protection, because it puts others lives in danger, and even if its criminals, he wont risk others dying because of him, something batman begins really messes up with rash

Love these shorts. Working Through Pain in particular has always stuck with me with the way it explores the depths of his pain through a flashback of his training juxtaposed to his current situation in Gotham. And of course, Kevin Conroy portrays it all so masterfully. Always felt this was an underrated little gem, and I’m glad you enjoyed it!

I was so not expecting you to watch this before Dark Knight. But I'm so glad you did. This series of shorts is kind of a forgotten gem of the Nolan Era of Batman. Very underappreciated and worth more attention.

Hey Meg, This movie was great, ı experienced it for the first time with you. I wanted to ask there was an animated movie called Assault on Arkham which takes place in Arkham game universe. Did you heard about it?

Sahzaman Sems

It is really good! you got to check it. named; Batman: Assault on Arkham 2014

Oh I found this on internet ; The film is set in the universe of the Batman: Arkham video game franchise, occurring after Arkham Origins; Jay Oliva states it takes place about two years before Arkham Asylum. James Tucker states that the film was intended to bridge the gap between Arkham Origins and Arkham Asylum.
