I was waiting for you to get to this episode. The Ventriloquist and Scarface is one of Batman's most interesting and unique villain in his rogues gallery. I think you read his bio when you were playing Arkham Asylum and while he's not my favorite villain/character in Batman lore, I was definitely excited for you to learn more about him in this episode. I can't believe you're going to be at episode 60 next! I can't wait for you to finally finish season 1 and then it's Mask of the Phantasm. I'm hyped for your reaction and thoughts of that movie!

Yeah so you properly met Ventriloquist and Scarface. They are part of Bruce’s rogues gallery and underutilized compared to Joker or Bane. They appeared frequently in the comics and other shows but never got a chance to be in a movie or game yet. The closest thing we got of them in the Arkham games is a Easter egg of seeing the Scarface puppet in the evidence locker in Arkham Knight. Ventriloquist in particular represent aspects like other of Batman’s enemies as a broken person with a mental illness of multiple personalities as he believes Scarface is alive & can’t live without him but really Scarface is just Ventriloquist’s dominant side of being a cruel criminal.

If u remember, Scarface puppet is in arkham asylum. He’s the puppet joker is holding on his throne by the end of the game. He also appears on the tv monitors of the asylum during some of the scarecrow hallucinations. But now u get to really learn about him and it’s always great watching u learn about a new villain or hero

Arkham asylum jsut really needs to get better mental care for all the patients cause its like half mental asylum half prison lol. Scareface and Two face both have a split personality

Introduction of probably the least individually capable Rogue, yet his legitimate mental condition makes him a tragic case worth more than one visit. Scarface plays well into the show's retro-noir aesthetic, complete with tommy gun. I like the gradual reveal of Scarface, reminds me of the 'Nobody sees the boss/wizard' trope where a greatly-feared leader doesn't actually exist.

And the dummy itself is in a case in the wardens office, along with a very special secret.
