I always think its fun to see actors play villians you get to experiment and be as wild as you can be or eerily creepy. Jessica's body language is great her shuffling in her apartment when she's frustrated and her faking being nice to get stuff done at times and yea I'd say the same Jessica and daredevil are like the people some know while Avengers are the bigger deal, no one knew about Spiderman really cause they weren't paying attention until Tony asked him to help them out, the Avengers don't deal with street crime ususally like them I like the 2 different perspectives

That’s not what I said. It has nothing to do with her being a Christian. I even said later that I don’t judge people based on their faith, despite my personal experience. What’s creepy is that she’s using it to justify the way she sees her son, and his return as some sort of miracle. In her case, which is extreme, it distorts her reality so much that she can’t see how much her son is suffering. I’m reality, his return is a tragedy, but she can’t see that. Her capacity for empathy is limited because her version of faith is so warped. It’s the extreme case of the “everything happens for a reason” trope so often found in faith circles. That kind of thinking can be very toxic. Him being mutilated didn’t happen for any good reason. It just happened, and it’s awful. - Caleb

Like I’m sure he doesn’t see it as god performing a miracle. As the viewers, we know what actually happened…Kilgrave stole his kidneys and condemned him to suffering as long as he lives. It’s the cognitive dissonance and her devout commitment to using her faith to hide from reality that’s creepy.
