I love how much you love this show because it's exactly how every one of us feels too! I really appreciate your passion for it and look forward to the rest of your reactions, including the game! (if you choose to continue it)

About Alex's character I agree, it is hard as a watcher to deal with the actor's actions vs how loved the character and the circle he is part of are. In my case, as a many-time rewatcher I can look back the way that the showrunners dealt with the allegations, even if it would bring unpopular and hard consequences for them. They put work, made themselves accountable and dealt with it in the (IMO) best way they knew how. So big-picture it is kind of like a unsightly stain in a beloved sweatshirt. You learn to accept it.

Sadavir Errinwright is such a snake. Great villain though, I love to hate him, and he does make some good points occasionally. Meanwhile I've watched this show so many times and I still can't remember the name of the Secretary General, the actual guy who runs Earth without googling his name.

Good to see you back, Meg! No need to explain the need to take a little time off to decompress a little and catch up on stuff. I think most of the folks here -- and everywhere, really -- know the feeling well. Such is our modern world. I woke up yesterday morning in Buffalo, NY (overnight trip), flew home to NYC, got home mid afternoon and worked the rest of the day and all night, and THEN saw this post so, of course, I had to watch it (at 3 a.m.) before going to bed. And I made it through, too, without nodding off once (well, at least not until I tried to write a comment here; then I fell asleep at my keyboard twice before giving up LOL). Kind of sorry you heard about the Cas situation when you did; most reactors I've seen were able to avoid that knowledge until much later in the series. I think we all try very hard to separate the character from the actor, and I think most of us succeed for the most part, but it's hard not to be affected by it at all -- how could you not be? But Aldo (above) is right, we all learn to accept it. You won't find many in the fan community who would argue your feelings on the subject, though. There may be a few clueless people out there, but most of us are right there with you. And yeah, Season 3 is incredible. You have no idea. :)

Get some rest, friend! So much of my Polish paternal side hails from Buffalo, NY, so I do have a soft spot in my heart :) hopefully you don't have to go back for the winter though, lol. Get some rest!

Sorrento-Gillis is the Sec-Gen.

I understand how u feel about the actor, it hurt us all. For me, it especially hurt because the character of Alex is my favorite Roci crew member in the books and show. But because the books are so vastly different from the show, I'll always remember Alex as the sweet, lovable, heart and soul of the Roci of the 9 books. I do love the show also because it gives me an alternate version in a different format. Glad to hear u took some time off, we all need that sometimes.

Thank you. I knew it was two words.

Phew, joining right for the most amazing season/movie etc. I've ever come across... Fun fact: Cara Gee did those inverted hanging crunches all by herself without help... and not just once but several times due to reshoots. Also, one of my favorite saying from the show, the "Hitch your tits and pucker up, it's time to peel the paint" expression by Bobby.
