Shivering King Banana

Meruem told Komugi he wasn't used to making sacrifices and he ended up losing to Netero's sacrifice because he didn't see it coming. The two limbs Netero lost were the same two limbs he didn't use when playing keep away with Gon and Killua. The foreshadowing in this show is top tier.

Togashi and Furudate did the genre a huge favor by writing their stories. Haikyuu is hopefully next so you can experience peak writing back to back.

If you guys get the chance, I always recommend rewatching the dubbed version of this fight scene. The narrator for the english dub nails Netero's self-destruction with slightly different wording than the sub.

I also think it's a nice callback to the rules Netero had in the original Hunter exam tournament, where the fighters had to make their opponent admit defeat without killing them.
