What I like about this episode is the fact we see Gon in a vulnerable position regarding his guilt for kite dying… his denial and sadness is something that it was building during this whole arc and once he came to the realization that he cannot save Kite is when Gon’s character is put in such a depressing position. I know some people favorite part of this arc is the king or Killua but as a fan of Gon’s character this was for me the peak of this arc. Since y’all already post 131 I will end my comment here and watch the next one ASAP.

It's so weird to be so excited for something yet dread it all the same. *edit after watching* Meeting Kite and learning about his father was the catalyst for Gon setting off to become a hunter. Gon's entire sense of being a Hunter comes from Kite and not actually from his quest in finding Ging. 2011 did a massive disservice not having you meet Kite in that opening episode and saying he just went out to find his father without telling you the true person as to why.
