its a bit of a different schedule for this week, the boys is replacing one spot and next week house of the dragon is also coming, we couldnt film the boys for today cause milena is visiting her brother and shes coming back on monday, so we prefilmed the episodes we had, so tomorrow you’ll get ranking and then the day after tomorrow another hunter, and next week we’ll start the new season of boys and house of the dragon

Alluka and Nanika really stole this episode but I gotta say Killuas father Silva is really interesting. The whole Zoldyck family is. The impression I get is that he wants Killua to be a good person but he also wants him to be strong enough to survive so he wont help him and he will also be another obstacle at times. The impression I get of the Zoldyck family dynamic is a survival of the fittest scenario. Fighting and manipulating is allowed and encouraged and they never do favors they only ever make deals. Just barely enough rules to keep it from turning into a bloodbath but still brutal enough to raise the worlds best assassins.

What I’m about to ask might piss off people but I’m genuinely curious .. Did Togashi ever confirmed Alluka was transgender? I always thought he was cross dressing as a girl like Kalluto. Regarding Silva.. I will be honest I don’t blame him for locking up Alluka in a maximum security underground bunker lol Alluka is very dangerous and as you saw can potentially kill people. Alluka’s power are going to be explained better in detail in the upcoming episodes.. regardless great review girls!

Just something that people don't catch because it's hinted just a few times is that alluka is a trans girl, all the zoldyck family refer to her as a brother or a boy, the buttlers are calling her "bocchan" or "bocchama" a boy term and the official textbook list her as a mâle except killua who treat her as a sister and use the correct pronouns

theres been 2 examples of nen exorcism. hina removing knuckle’s APR from cheetu. her belly was inflated until cheetu died. the nen purger on greed island conjuring up a large worm to eat the nen bomb genthru placed on him. the worm stayed latched on and didnt disappear until he disabled the bomb fully by touching genthru.

This is the only explanation that makes sense of why she'd be called a boy by almost everyone except Killua. The fact that she's locked up and her family refuses to acknowledge her is also a trans allegory.

I don't think it was ever confirmed but what I can tell you is that crossdressers don't identify as the gender they're crossdressing as, Alluka does see herself as a girl. I also don't remember if Killua ever mentions Kalluto but I don't think he'd call him a girl, Kalluto and Alluka are a different case.

I don't think he ever confirmed she was trans but Killua being the only one who refers to her with female pronouns and also being the one she loves the most I think is a pretty clear sign. The comparison between Alluka and trans people is more than crossdressing. Nanika is something not understood and feared, that concept is taken to such an extreme that it becomes understandable to keep Alluka locked up like that. I believe this was done intentionally to give us the point of view of bigots who would treat an actual trans person like that.

yup subtext is hard for a lot of shonen fans. But Togashi loves including gender nonconformity and trans people in his work. This is the best handled one by far. I have seen so many excuses people try to make to avoid accepting that she's trans but they all refuse to engage with the actual text.

She’s not as broken as people think she is. Her power, or her character in general is the most misunderstood part of this entire show. But all you need to know is that NO, she absolutely can’t grant any and all wish. That’s just Killua’s guess. There’s always a catch. Dots have to connect, conditions have to be met for it to work. That’s showcased in this episode. Rather than conjuring money out of thin air, she summoned an already existing plane carrying cash. That’s teleportation. Nothing crazier than say, Feitan conjuring a miniature sun. Nobody can just ask her something as preposterous as to “destroy the whole world.” Or “get rid of everyone’s illness.”

My personal theory is that Alluka was a boy and Nanika is a girl. Since according to Killua, they spend the majority of the time as Nanika, I would see Alluka choosing to lean that way. Aside from Killua, the family didn't ever realize that Alluka awakened to Nanika until this arc. I believe they were too preoccupied with the danger to care about Alluka's personal developments.

Honestly have been a little worried before getting to these episodes, as have often see comment sections descend into shitshows about Alluka being trans. Genuinely so heartwarming to see people overwhelmingly accepting that in these comments <3 Will talk about it more as it goes on, but this arc is reason number 7462 why this show is so fucking special to me. Both can't wait to see you experience it but also grieving the fact you'll be done with this beautiful show so soon </3

nen exorcism is not "take a way the nen" It is a way to dispell others nen. For example, 1.Kurpika put a nen blade onto the heart of Chrolo, the nen exorcist's job is to take that nen blade away. 2.The bomber Genthru put bombs to other and the nen exorcist summoned a nen beast to eat that bomb. 3.Nakuru attached potokurin to Cheetu and Hina "ate" it by some means so her belly got bigger then everyone was confused if she was pregnant. There are never a guy can "take the nen away"

And phantom troop already found that nen exorcist guy at the end of Greed Island arc. He said the boys win the game is fine since he will make a lot of money by nen exorcism then you can see that he went to meet Hisoka who hired by Chrolo himself

Isaac Netero Chan, I thought the same too. I think that’s what the author was getting at. Spoilers ahead: That Nanika being a female influenced Alluka to identify as a girl from birth. Based on how Alluka refers to Nanika as a ‘she’ while talking to Killua about how hurt Nanika was and that Killua has to accept both of them.

They say “he” in one case when Alluka’s eyes go black. It’s like 2 different people. Alluka is the human sister, and the black eyes is something different and they call it a he, as far as I understood anyway

I've just joined your Patreon to get ahead with HxH and I absolutely love your discussions and reactions <3 Though the HxH journey is ending... I'm honestly so pumped at the idea of you guys watching Haikyuu!! especially since I think Lola mentioned playing volleyball? Monster is such an incredible series as well though and I'd love to hear your discussions on it, so I really hope you can watch both eventually :) But oh gosh I think there's so much to talk about with the characters + character development in Haikyuu and I can already hear all the 'MY BOYS' you guys will be saying throughout it :') You'll have such a great time watching it whether it's the next show after HxH or sometime in the future! I think it'll be a great serotonin boost. I literally just bought the same shirt that Milena is wearing as well, I think it's perfect timing :D
