Nah this thumbnail crazy

Isaac

You two are so calm and collected at seeing Kurapika

Kaycee

Gonna go learn Serbian before watching this brb 🏃🏻‍♀️💨

SoClose

Haven’t even watched it yet, just know this is gonna be a classic lmfao

Dammy Oshikoya

Hey girls, make sure to watch Gen V before The Boys S4, it's basically ties into S4 (in just a small neat way, nothing to crazy). Gen V is AMAZING

Jay

Lmfaoo that’s the best thumbnail I’ve ever seen.

Komikall

After that punch, even someone like Thorfinn would've jovially cheered among the roars of the crowd.

Max__

I'm currently rereading the manga new arc and this scene of Kurapika just sitting hits hard af, I love Gon and Killua but my boy Kurapika is the most goated protagonist of this show

HenryM

Lola's been asking for more than a year for someone to cuss Ging out. Who better to do that than our boy Leorio!

Sebastian

leorio usurps the title of “ging’s biggest hater” from lola

Jack SV

I only know a few words in Serbian thanks to Nico Bellic from GTA IV lol

Termind Terguta

I advice to watch whatever you want, Haikyuu or monster. I really like both but it's better to chose what your heart says... Monster will be forever recommended for you with the same intensity like now, but right now, there is someone who is a bit too exited to start a certain sport anime 😂... I think it will bring a more wholesome atmosphere watching something that is wanted by you

Unholy

You know it’s going to be a good and/or crazy time when the serbian comes out lmao

Kya Colosseum
>>141410178

Honestly been waiting for this episode with almodt as much anticipation as I was 131. The number of times you two wanted someone to call Ging out, and the show gives us THIS. Cannot wait to watch 🙌

Jay

Been waiting for this episode since the very first reaction with “already dont like the father”

Tom

Goated thumbnail lmao

electriq

might be the best reaction ive ever seen for this episode 😂😂

ぱぐー くろ

If possible, after you finish watching Hunter x Hunter, I'd love for you to watch Your Lie in April next.

bondbond53

Not LM pretending to be surprised after they forced Togashi to write this episode

Kaycee

I’m really so curious what yall would put for a 3rd option on the poll. I really thought it would be jjk since so many people were asking haha. Maybe SpyxFamily? Just because it appeared on a poll before and came in second place. Also one of my favorite reactions it did not disappoint 😂 been waiting on that punch for over 100 episodes 😭😂

FFme

The amount of the Serbian words is the most reliable indication of how good the episode is

StrawHat

the laughing and then crying after seeing the ending song lmaoooooo this is the funniest most relatable reaction to this episode. i was so excited for you guys to see it but i couldn't hype it up cuz i didn't want yall to expect anything loll y'all didn't disappoint.

Wallas

FINALLY THIS MOMENT, LEORIO THE GOAT

StrawHat
>>141412184

lmaooo Melody and Leorio in the same frame...this is everything they wanted loll

David Brown

NOO¡ Demon Slayer no¡ Ustedes merecen un anime corto. Recomiendo Anohana. El lo mejor de lo mejor

AE

Might be the best LM HxH reaction ever

Amber

THIS THUMBNAIL LMAO exactly what I expected

拓人 石川

The current arc in the manga, which hasn’t been animated yet, has Kurapika as the main character. I’d love to see your reaction if it gets animated. Haha.

Nonam

I love this episode because in a story stuffed with subverted expectations and twists, the author just straight up DELIVERS on what we've wanted to see for 100+ episodes. Pure catharsis.

Chrisenrico Sese

Holy wow that might have been the greatest reaction I've seen for hxh ahahahaha

StrawHat

Even though the show couldn't continue the writer made sure to give fans who were watching it for so long everything they wanted in a way that made sense. you can really tell that Togashi loves this story

Kaycee
>>141412510

Yea it seems from the intro of this reaction it won’t be on a poll for a while lol I’m kind of indifferent about them reacting to it honestly. Wouldn’t really be mad or happy if it won a poll if that makes sense haha.

Jack SV

Ngl chief.. I forgot all that happened in one episode lol I thought Leorio punching Gin was the next episode. Regardless I feel Togashi wrote this one for all the people who hate Gin out there. I personally like all the cameos we get in this arc. They don’t distract from the main story and are a welcome surprise. Unlike other mangas who do it badly …One * Cough* Piece…

Harfie

lmao Lola congratulations, this episode was written especially for you! Every time you brought up someone cussing out Ging, I couldn't wait for the moment you got the cussing and A WHOLE PUNCH haha. This reaction was absolutely goooold

mvri

Been waiting for this reaction for so long and god I've never laughed so hard. The pure shock, the hysterical laughter and nonstop crying was just so RELATABLE. I also distinctly remember Lola saying something along the lines of "I need someone to punch Ging very hard for me. ANYONE" a few episodes back, and all I could think in that moment was "Oh boy, they're gonna love this." Leorio, you will always be known as Gon's real dad.

Wallas

I think this was my favorite reaction of my life, I love you so much

hellios6

I can't watch this bcs of the crazy screaming. Maybe I'll try on super low volume but that's annoying

Isaiah Cox

Greatest reaction of all time holy hell I was geeking out at the punch like I haven’t seen it a 100 times right alongside yall

Harfie

this episode was soooo satisfying

HeavenlyR
>>141415267

I agree with you but you maybe should edit out the part of your post about (EDITED) I think it's a slight spoiler, that gets pointed out in a few episodes from now

David Brown

How do you know that an episode was amazing? when girls start speaking in Serbian jaja love it

ridleymon

“I turned it up as if I knew japanese.” Lol, been thinking about this scene since their beef with Ging started.

ForiegnKarma

One of my favorite reactions from yall fosure lol , I think I could speak for everyone in the fandom everyone reactions was the exact same when Ging got punched in the face by Leorio.

Toidleboy

Just so you guys know as well, Ging let Leorio hit him you could tell he saw it coming and could have dodged it easily if he wanted to. Such a great moment.

Caleb Scott

Haikyuu has Hunter exam vibes and monster has death note vibes. That’s the best way I can describe them. One is wholesome and easy to watch and the other is a dark realistic fiction that will make you think a lot. I’d prefer Monster but I’m biased. Also I’ve been waiting soooo long for this moment. Since you guys first called ging a deadbeat.🤭

Yū Nishinoya
>>141415267

I wasn't sure about that part...but in which episode is it explained? I remember it just in the manga

HeavenlyR
>>141415765

This is explained later, while it's possible to notice now I think you should edit that part out personally

Veya

It was a good episode but honestly no one really hyped up this episode before hand because it is relatively mid compared to the show's peak episodes. The super attachment to kurapika is pretty unique to this channel (I mean he's an okay character and we really don't see much of him) and the leorio punching ging moment was great, but the affects of the catharsis can greatly vary depending on if you were really attached to the situation or if you thought the buildup or throughline was good or not. For a lot of people, fans or other reactors, it seems to be more of a justified hype moment (the show makes no secret that ging is a terrible father) than an emotional catharsis (the throughline isn't really fleshed out, just broadly exists). Also small correction, bisky doesn't know ging personally, she just heard from netero that he's one of the strongest nen users and she knows him by reputation.

Theria
>>141416627

Nah I remember Rob from rttv jumping out of his chair when Kurapika showed up this episode. I had the same reaction lol. I mean he is popular. The Leorio punching Ging moment is also pretty consistently one of the most exciting reactions from just about any react channel. I agree not all of them view it as “built-up catharsis” though, so you’re right on that. Everyone agrees he deserves it regardless.

HeavenlyR
>>141415267

It's later on that site, Cheadle says it at 15:35 in ep 144 also your link was for ep 145

Kya Colosseum
>>141416627

You're tripping this is one of the best episodes of the show. I've literally been waiting for this since they started their justified Ging hate in episode 1, and there's SO many reactors that love Kurapika and wish we got more of him in the show. "Yeah I know Ging! Chairman Netero said he's one of the five strongest nen users!" is roughly what she says. It's unclear if she knows him personally or not but considering her age it is quite likely they've at least met once or twice.

Kya Colosseum

Oh my god this reaction was everything I was hoping it would be hahaha, the number of times I went from laughing to crying with you both was ridiculous. Your sheer disbelief that the show was giving us a Leorio vs Ging suckerpunch had me in stitches. The reason no-one spoiled you imo is because this episode is very self contained unlike 125-6. 130-1 and 134-5, but personally I always prefer it when you have zero expectations going in so we get corkers like this. Echoing what you both said about it but what I truly love about Togashi's writing is he doesn't excuse Ging in the slightest. He makes it abundantly clear that all the suffering Gon has gone through to try and find him was not justified through some "greater purpose". Plus the cheering of the crowd after he gets hit is almost as cathartic to me as the punch itself. Perfect episode, perfect reaction. Thank you so SO much for loving this show and these boys as much as you do <3

Veya
>>141416627

Yeah I'm not saying they are the only ones but you can even see in those reaction mashups for that moment that it was mostly a hype moment not really tear-worthy and nobody I know personally got overly emotional about it as well. I know these two do cry more and get more emotionally attached easier though. Was just explaining why I don't think most really talked about the ep coming up compared to the other hallmark ones.

Veya
>>141416627

@kya colossuem, I'm not tripping, super fans just overreact to any criticisms (which I didn't even say it was bad, but it wasn't the best) . I'm hardly the only one, like I said you can just find the reaction mashups and this ep isn't usually brought up like 116 or 135 or the end of yorknew. ""Yeah I know Ging! Chairman Netero said he's one of the five strongest nen users!"" If she knew ging personally why would she follow up that sentence with what netero said instead of....explaining where she once met ging to gon lol. Just compare it to kite. @wallas what i said isn't complicated bro. just reread unless you were just responding because someone dare says the ep is not the best thing since sliced bread lol. Incidently there's a succession picture in your profile. That's an s-tier show and is more nuanced and richer than hxh.

Robert H.

You can also take another look at the results of the Long Anime Poll. Jujustu Kaisen, Spy x Family, Kaguya-sama, Fruits Basket, Naruto Oceaniz Cut (episodes are 45 to 80 minutes long, so probably only 1x week, but 90 episodes in total): https://strawpoll.com/poy9WdEY2gJ/results

Levi

This is actually the most unhinged positive reaction you've ever done and I enjoyed it IMMENSELY. I always knew Lola would love the punch because of comments she'd made over the series but the highs and lows of your reactions to CAMEOS and the utter disbelief at the end really made this an all time favourite for me. Actually what really pushed it over the top for me was when credits roll and Milena goes from super happy to crying over kurapika's backside and lola goes from laughing at her to looking horrified and confused about life in general. 10/10!

ODIS
>>141415267

Whether he has special friends or not, I would assume any loving father would want to at least visit their son once, if not stay by their side the whole time...

ODIS
>>141415819

Could one still like Monster if they don't like Death Note? Im thinking about watching it, but as Lola, I didn't enjoy Light's character at all and couldn't empathize with him. How does Monster handle antagonists, and female characters?

Caleb Scott
>>141415819

They’re not that alike, I was trying to relate it to something they know. Death note was a little corny at times but monster is 100% serious and has a lot of deeper/darker tones and themes. The antagonist is regarded as one of the best in anime by a lot of people. The female characters are pretty okay for a 2000’s anime. They are sexualized sometimes but in the context of the show, not fan service like Misa. The main female character is cool asf. The other is portrayed as a “bratty gold digger” but she gets her own meaningful story.

Toidleboy
>>141415765

lol no it is shown here, they are rightfully really excited about Ging being punched that it could have gone over some peoples heads in the heat of the moment. slight spoiler -> It is then reiterated later with more context in a singular sentence by another characters thoughts, that is all. they will get to that when they get to it obviously but pointing out a clear demonstration of "show not tell", without explicitly saying so, that most people can pick up on, is not a spoiler. as for why he let Leorio punch him thats still very much a mystery here and i said nothing of the matter.

SwampFox95

I’m on board with waiting until JJK is finished before deciding whether to watch it. Not saying it doesn’t deserve it, but currently-running shows always get disproportionate attention from viewers of reaction content. Ps: Please don’t put Demon Slayer on any polls lol

Åsmund Bergsbakk

After watching this, can we all please agree to never "prepare" them for another episode, or hype up an episode ever again? Because this might be my favorite reaction.. ever.

Robert H.
>>141418585

This was just a poll to find out which shows there was interest in a reaction to, since it wasn't entirely clear what else we wanted to see besides Monster and Haikyuu. A similar thing happened with the short anime slot, which gave us the following result: https://strawpoll.com/jVyG8zwPYn7/results These were just a mood test, nothing solid. The next real anime polls will all come in July. Then we'll find out what replaces Ranking of Kings and Hunter x Hunter.

KIMI

I feel like everyone is always talking about the polls under the hxh videos so I'm gonna do some shameless promotion for Haikyu. That series is all about connection, taking care of yourself, and being better than the you of yesterday. "Today you are the defeated but what will you become tomorrow?" is a quote that literally helped me get through addiction. It's not hyperbolic to say this series changed my life and I really think that anyone who takes the time to meet that series head on will come out better for it.

Aglio Olio

epic thumbnail and even better reaction

Shivering King Banana

I'm sure when you edited this episode you noticed Ging staring at Leorio's punch as it came, he had plenty of time to dodge but let himself get hit.

Aglio Olio

Was this more shocking than the 100 s7 ep13?

ridleymon

I felt compelled to sketch this frame because I thought it captured the energy of the reaction, also Milena’s face was funny to me https://imgur.com/a/iOwiCiA

Alpha

OP spoiled Leorio's nen moment. The OPs should never be watched for new reactors. Straight up.

Alpha
>>141415267

He's...not a troll for pointing out relevant information about Ging?

ridleymon
>>141423180

Gee, no wonder they were so calm and composed while watching that scene lol

Yū Nishinoya
>>141416627

it's mid in your opinion...I was waiting for this episode. I didn't hype it because their reactions are better when they don't expect it.

HeavenlyR
>>141415267

@ODIS Going by future interactions between Ging and Pariston I think Ging knows showing care for Gon in front of Pariston is a bad idea and puts Gon in danger in the future. I also think he has another reason for not visiting but I'll probably talk about that on a later episode.

Kevin Inoj Perez

LM: We want a chill episode, not in the right headspace. HxH: Here's Leorio, Kurapika, and Melody! For the cherry on top here's Ging getting punched by Leorio! 🤣🤛

bondbond53

Guys tell your mom and everyone about the poll, we HAIKYUU gang need to win this!

ForiegnKarma

JJK fans we have hope ! I just know they would absolutely love the main character

StrawHat
>>141416627

its not a mid episode at all... it's literally one of the best of the show. from them bringing back characters like Canary, Melody, Leorio and Kurapika to addressing big questions that most viewers had like why Ging never visited Gon. Also the fact that the show was not trying to paint it in a positive light and seeing Leorio punch Ging was very satisfying. most people didn't hype this episode up for them because we want to see their genuine reactions, especially to these last few ones.

StrawHat
>>141417884

exactly...the crowd almost feels like us viewers watching and hyping up Leorio lmaooo

StrawHat
>>141420327

lmaooo i like demon slayer but i agree i would even rather they start jjk now than choose demon slayer

StrawHat
>>141420767

agreeee there are so many episodes I love from this arc, it's such a good follow-up to the Chimeria ant arc and a good conclusion. I hope they don't get prepared for anything else cuz there aren't that many episodes left.

Veya
>>141416627

Why do people keep talking about genuine reactions...we want their genuine reactions for all the big episodes lol. It's not like people were saying exactly what 116 or 131, or 135 was. People just mentioned them more because they were more excited for those episodes and the ant arc in general. Bringing back characters is fun but very fanservice-y. The show already didn't paint Ging in a positive light when he literally said he was a bad person and didn't want to see Gon when he left the recording, it's not established in this episode. Like I said, I think it's good but still relatively mid compared to the best ones.

StrawHat
>>141416627

well, that's your opinion, I was just as excited for this episode as 116 or 131. and I knew they would be hyped for this episode just like I was and based on all the comments so was everyone else loll

Justin Spencer

I’m glad you’re enjoying yourselves as you approach the ending you can never watch it for the first time again I’m so sad that we don’t have more outside of the manga 😢

Isaac
>>141423180

We watch OPs on this channel. If it doesn't rise to the level of AoT S3 part 2 OP, they want to watch it.

ForiegnKarma
>>141425526

Compared to other shonen anime I just feel like it’s balanced just like AOT. I feel like JJK story and character development is literally in every episode but that’s just my opinion.

Mra Keung

This episode blue screened them irl. That was beautiful.

Mra Keung

We LOVE to see you just cry and talk. We can feel your awe and joy through the screen and its great.

Ryab

This arc is soooooo underrated

Veya
>>141416627

yall know you can still like something even if it's not perfect right?

Kaelyn Meier

I've been waiting over a year for this episode and it did not disappoint

Theo Santader
>>141425526

They've always been more perceptive than other reactors. I'm sure they will recognize the messages in JJK despite the flashy fights

Nino
>>141425416

I'm ok with whatever tbh but, i fell like haikyuu is more their style, they are going to love the boys so much haha

Karabo

Haikyuu, The amount of My Boys, I can't. It's right up your alley. JJK next please next poll

Karabo
>>141433450

I am just starting it, I waited years for Lola specifically to react

Karabo

Oh my Goodness, the reaction to Kurapika didn't disappoint at all!

Karabo

This is the best reaction I have ever seen to an anime episode. In the history of everything I've seen on Youtube. This is why I will always support you girls :)

Karabo

Lol as someone who English is my second language, sometimes something is so shocking you genuinely forget English, we call it losing your English Bundles here in South Africa hahahaha

Karabo

I was waiting for Lola's reaction to Leorio's punch. That is genuinely my favorite HunterxHunter moment of all time. Other stories should learn from this. The fans always wanted someone to punch Ging , making it Leorio , after he told him all the shit we've been feeling towards Ging but to punctuate it with Leorio showing his growth with a Sweet ass Emmitter Nen move, instead of needlessly subverting expectations cough cough Game of Thrones. Funny enough I just remembered Hisoka saying Emmitters are passionate and Hot headed and that is our boy Leorio to a T.

Karabo

The deep Serbian reminded me of Attack on Titan Days. I might spin the block on those reactions actually.

Karabo
>>141410424

I was so ready for this episode, everytime Lola spoke about Ging I was grinning like an idiot waiting for the legend that is Leorio.

veljko Milosevic

jujutsu kaisen is a little similar to demon slayer in terms of fights, BUT its also very similar to attack on titan first 3 seasons in terms of friendship, trios, sacrifice and etc so its definitely worth a shot

KIMI
>>141425416

I will triple my subscription just to see them watch season 3

Lau
>>141413900

pero para remplazar hxh tienen que meter un anime largo; ya hay un slot para anime corto, cuando terminen RoK. Anihana no podría ir después de hxh

Joka

I feel like the Leorio-stock went up this episode

DelgAlessio

guys I think we broke them ):

jweher

THE THUMBNAIL HAHAHA

Darrach

I was excited for this reaction but somehow it surpassed all expectations ahaha, it’s like all the running jokes of what the girls wanted to see happened: Melody, Leorio, Kurapika, and Ging getting exactly what he deserves! The old faces reappearing is always a joy but man, Leorio punching Ging is one of those moments I’ll think about first when I think of HXH, easily one of the best in the whole show. It is like Togashi knew what the fans wanted and just went full fan-service. I knew the girls would love this last arc and there is so much more great stuff to come!

Sam

I knew y'all would love this episode lol. Melody, then Kurapika, then THE PUNCH

bondbond53
>>141420767

Yeah you get this amazing reaction and instead people decide to scratch their little itch of typing "omfg can't wait when you get to minute 15:31 of episode 98". Like is it worth it? I propose from now on to shame people that hype up episodes

sunshine

LEOOORIOIOOOOOOOOOOOOO

wing-yi
>>141415000

You mean LM screaming? Their excitement made this one of the best reactions I've ever watched haha

wing-yi
>>141420869

Agreed, the amount of incredible quotes that came out of this show!! So good to hear that it's helped you out, it's such a comfort show for me as well and I'd probably die of happiness if LM react to it :')

Midnight Giant

Such a fun episode! By the way I totally recommend watching Steins;Gate I think you guys would really enjoy that anime.

Sayaki

Top Tier reaction amazing stuff XD

Elias Segundo

I hope they have the chance to watch Your lie in April in the future

Daniel Rincon

the chokehold this show has on them has to be studied

caleb

manga states leorios nen is used for internal surgeries so that he doesnt need to cut patients open

MaxVSTheGames

You should just do two polls. One for the next show you're going to watch (Haikyuu vs Monster) and then another one to gauge out interest in other shows for a future official poll.

MaxVSTheGames
>>141412119

lol JJK is not winning. People with some sense know very well that this is not the kind of anime the girls will enjoy that much (especially compared to something like Haikyuu that they'll definitely love)

MaxVSTheGames
>>141412510

They've mention Spy X Family and Kaguya-sama before. Both with Haikyuu both of these shows are soft/cute, so it would split the Haikyuu vote, leading to a Monster win for sure.

refo44
>>141411921

That's is a pretty good recommendation but for the short anime slot after Ranking Of Kings. HxH is in the long anime slot.

hellios6
>>141415000

You do you guys. My ears are just hella sensitive. That's all. No offense

Erica

“he looks like he stinks” HAHAHAHAHA

Casval

This reaction was wild lol, did not expect it. Really hope you guys give Jujutsu Kaisen a shot you might love it.

Amaya

i feel like you guys would like jujutsu kaisen actually

Ninaly

Gonna add to this wall of comments because this deserves it. I think you girls shocked us with a great reaction as much as the episode shocked you lol

Diego

everytime i think about jjk´s hidden inventory arc i think about how much they would love it, excited for the poll!!

Arctic_stark

I feel like everyone has come full circle with Jujutsu Kaisen, from overrating it a few years ago to underrating it now. I mean, it's not exactly AoT but it's also not as shallow as Demon slayer. It's a fun anime with some great characters and relationships.

Lauraa Rodríguez
>>141532684

i agree! idk how up their alley would be, but in terms of characters I do think they'd enjoy them, and I do think its being overhated.

Robert H.
>>141532684

They would really love the characters and especially the first Ending.

Aris

This is a very rewarding episode !

bondbond53
>>141532684

It's because it's characterisation is more subtle like how for example Bleach is if you've read the manga for it. It's very battle shonen in the sense that it does it's heavy lifting world building and characterisation A LOT through the power system and fights. That's why I hate people that say "oh if you took all the fights out it would be a bad story". It's like saying "if you took volleyball out of Haikyuu the story would be bad". Like no shit

Sebastian Ayala

this is why you girls are THE BEST reactors, you love the shows so much and your reactions are so genuine, just amazing!

Arctic_stark
>>141532684

Funny thing is, I think if JJK went a little lighter on the battles it would be a much better story. I think what you said is true for demon slayer but not JJK. JJK shines outside the battles, which end up taking over the show (and I am also up to date on the manga).

Ken Drummer

You know an episode hits the girls hard when they start speaking their own language! 😂

hellios6

Why do they simp over Kurapika so much? He wasn't even shown for that long.

Doc Main

Bro were y’all on shrooms?

Gerardo

no words, the best reaction I've ever seen to anything XD

Ralph Serr

That ending was so good with leorio punching ging and the music kicking in.

Lux
>>141658384

He's very in line with the type of characters they love in shows

atoure32

I had the same reaction to the episode when I watched it , I loved how dialogue heavy it is and it feels like an intense drama with comedic relief

Michael Cannon
>>141532684

Unfortunately the character arcs are the weakest part of JJK. Well paced for the first season but goes off the rails IMO.
