You know what.. I know another wholesome anime that is called “Neon Genesis Evangelion” :)) is a beautiful coming of age story. I think you guys are ready for that one. Maybe a suggestion for future polls <3

Jay

All Hail King Boji !!! Really hoping Frieren wins this next poll, I’ve said it a lot of times, but, it’s truly a show you two would absolutely love and it’s also got a female main character so that’s a bonus.

Isaiah Cox

Sad to see this sweet show go I’m gonna miss the good vibes 😭 I’m happy yall loved it tho

Madoka bros is it possible we get a slot on the poll tomorrow? Or is it over for all 10 of us?

Thanks, in that case if I see Madoka in tomorrow’s poll then I’m voting for it!

HenryM

Aww I'm gonna miss the cuteness aggression, but you're right, Bojji is the pinnacle of cuteness and nothing will ever come close

Danny

I know it aint ever gonna win...but still gotta support Monster. This is the level beyond Death Note. Not that Death note is better or worse but I think Monster definitely was far more complex as a show and its characters.

Concerning why animes create only 1 season with unfinished stories. Manga is way way more popular than Anime in Japan. Anime are created for only 1 season essentially just to advertise the manga and hopefully boost sales, but this doesn't always work out. Manga is much cheaper and easier to create, so it ends up that only the few very popular manga (that can sell lots of merch) that get adapted fully to the end of the story.

*pisses pants* *teleports behind you* "Heh, nothing personal." Kills god.

I think so as well. I'm also hoping for Legend of the Galactic Heroes someday. There's a lot of really good old anime out there.

Though it's never gonna win a poll I still hope you can watch Bang Dream It's MyGO one day (I know you sometimes pick what to watch next without a poll). It's definitely one of the animes with female protagonists that have the best character developments out there. It's kinda like the female version of Haikyuu(I know it's a weird analogy but I just can't find a better way to pique your interest). I know you don't like getting much prior knowledge before watching a show so I offer a one-sentence synopsis of its story: 5 girls form a band. It's really popular in east Asia (Japan, China and Korea) and season 2 is coming in winter, 2025, which will complete the story so it will be a perfect time to check it out. Also I wonder how do you pick the options for your poll? Do you have a notebook to keep track of what people have been recommending or just browse through comments of your recent posts to decide? I mean if you have a notebook please put MyGO on it, I promise that you won't regret it, plz plz plz

My tip: Watch TCC 8 first and then TCC 7.1+3.2. I remember from Fullmetal Alchemist OVAs that you were glad you watched OVA 1 first and then OVA 2. It would probably be better here too.

My interpretation was that Desha sacrificed his memories so that the demon girl wouldn't have to sacrifice any of herself.

Rainbow Nisha, One Outs, No Game No Life, The Promised Neverland (Season 1, There is no Season 2 in Ba Sing Se), ... There are so many examples of very great unfinished anime. It must also be said that in recent years, the entire story of a manga is increasingly being adapted as an anime. All these unfinished anime to push the manga were still from before 2015.

The only question is: Which watch order? The original ending or the modification with the movies?

The big difference between Monster and Death Note, in my opinion, is that Monster has much more thoughtful and much better written characters. We have so many strong intelligent characters, a calm but fast pacing. In Death Note, the concept gets lost relatively quickly and especially in the second half, you just realise that the author wanted to end it sooner, but because of the popularity, he wrote another storyline, which made a lot of the characters worse, but especially the female characters. The only thing that the second half did better was the finale. The mental breakdown feels more realistic after years of Kira's reign than if it had been caused by L exposing the fake rule.

only 1 dollar for an account to vote if I have time im gonna create hundreds of accounts to vote for monster money is not an issue :DD

Because Lola is already thinking about reading the manga: The author not only writes side stories for his characters, but also about himself. I've picked them out: https://imgur.com/a/wpCAi5v I love how he reacted to the anime adaptation to his story :D Oh yes, and the kitchen device he raves about is the thermomix, in case you don't know it yet. It's quite expensive, but it's supposed to be very practical.

I don't know if the choices are already picked for the poll, but I think "To Your Eternity" would be a perfect show for you to react to (considering how much you liked Violet Evergarden)

The anime has 40 episodes and will have a third season next year. It would fit into the Long Anime Poll.

I was looking at it per season, since one season is only 20 episodes it fit the bill and the 2nd season can participate in another poll (we also have like 0 info for the 3rd season so something tells me it would take more than next year for it to come out sadly.....)

If they ever watch it in the future I guess it would really depend on how much they like it first lol I wouldn’t submit them to the movies if they feel the ending was satisfactory enough. Of course the movies expand and explain more but we going to see if ever wins or gets into a future poll.. Neon Genesis Evangelion for 2025!

Well, 8 episodes are left in HxH which is about 1 month. If i create 10 accounts per day which is easy I can reach 300 accounts by the time they finish HxH. 300 votes from me should be enough for Monster to win :D
