Dylan

MAD MEN PLEASE THANKS

My Toasty Toast

I feel like Mad Men would just infuriate you

Jesse S

Since Andor season 2 is coming soon y’all should watch it. Amazing show

refo44

We all have PTSD after the previous poll 🤣

Jay

Can you please finish Altered Carbon really quick?? You left off with 4 eps in season 1 and season 2. Its such a great show, please finish it

Ahmad Ali

Barry would be glorious

Noah Chammartin

Omg yessss Barry + The Sopranos would mean y'all have reacted to almost all of my favourite shows ever

bondbond53

MAD MEN PLEASE MAD MEN

Samuel Infante

Sad, I want Yellowstone so bad but Sopranos is too good…

SmallWoodenDuck

Sopranos will win but looking forward to you guys doing Mad Men, it’s a great show.

Patrick

I know sopranos is going to win, but I feel like mad men would be a more interesting watch.

Isaiah Cox

BARRRYYYYY I JUST SAW YABOIROSHI REACTIONS TO IT. THE SHOW IS SO GOOD

Jake Port

Barry and The Sopranos would be awesome

bondbond53

Succession was the modern Mad Men and I know Lola loved Succession so there's no way they won't love this. Please people give me this please

Gunner

CJ: Ah shit here we go again

Julmor

Barry is amazing. You guys would love it. Its also alot less timeconsuming than Sopranos or Mad Men. Its one of those shows where you have no idea whats gonna happen next. And your feelings/empathies towards different characters change all the time. And its reaaaaaally funny........ as a dark comedy.

PamRenea

Supacell -6 episodes Castlevania for animation BANSHEE!!!!

the chosen one

They would absolutely adore and love mad men and the sopranos so much but the sopranos is just deeper and could have more insight discussions. But for my sanity it has to be one of those two.

the chosen one

I will give everyone 100lbs of gabagool if they vote for the sopranos.

Jay
>>145971968

I know its been a couple years since you last reacted to it but it really is worth the finish

the chosen one

This is the only election I have ever cared about

Darrach

I love Barry, but the Sopranos is probably the best show ever made, so gotta pick it. It is a long show though so it would benefit from a two-per-week slot, in my opinion!

Karabo

I need Barry to win

Hannah N
>>145972022

I definitely want to see them watch Yellowjackets, love that show

Damien Fenton

All great shows. Can't complain but no option for my beloved For All Mankind :( Someday...

Evair M

SOPRANO'S ARMY ASSEMBLE

Lixien

Milena bought a suit and Lola was in the mafia before. Just saying.

the chosen one

Mad men fans need to vote for sopranos because it’s not gonna win this vote and it’s closest thing to it in terms of character depth, writing, and acting. Also made by one of the lead writers for the later seasons of the sopranos.

KC

honestly any of these have potential for good discussion damn

Kara

I'm always voting Mad Men. I'm shocked it even has 12% lol. Let's gooooo

Skellyton3

Making me choose between Sopranos, Mad Men, AND Barry is so cruel.

Swaybez

God not the Sopranos…

Timothy Smith

Sopranos has always seemed so over hyped

bondbond53

Wait so 2 shows are gonna win?????

bondbond53

guys how do I look at the poll in detail again?

Jay Craig

Mad Men 3rd has me shook what the—- Guessing crossover with Sopranos fans

Robert H.

Barry (32 Episodes), Yellowstone (47+ Episodes, Season 6 announced), Sopranos (86 Episodes), Mad Men (92 Episodes). From the description I think Yellowstone is the most interesting, but I mean Barry fans have been waiting for a reaction for quite a while and it's also the shortest show, so there could be another poll in 4 months. Sopranos would be 11 months. 🤔

Jay Craig

Ok Sopranos wins clean pack it up

Kenneth T

Awww hopefully soon for Barry. Y'all would fall in love with a few characters 😭

Jay Craig

I am so here for the whiplash of going from Haikyuu and Frieren to the fucking Sopranos every few days

Robert H.

You know what would be funny? If Sopranos and Barry were both at exactly 40%. (Haikyuu Monster Flashback) 😂

Jason Michael

Omfg they're gonna watch sopranos!

Rynsen

I think Mad Men is the better choice for the girls, just because of how deep that character study can go. They would love it. The Sopranos is a must watch though, so I have to vote for that.

BobJ

Mad Men was great

Max Carter

The Sopranos is an all timer and has been on the cards for a while so makes sense that will be next. I can not wait for your reactions to the masterpiece of a show. I know you two love the grey characters so not too concerned but the one thing with The Sopranos is they're all kinda awful people. Also I know this show is probably way too niche to ever get a reaction but I would like to recommend the show My Brilliant Friend to you two just for in your own time. It's one of the best written shows I've seen and is criminally under seen probably because it's not in English but it's very well reviewed and I know you girls would love it

Darrach
>>145977608

I haven’t seen Mad Men yet but surely the Sopranos is one of the best shows ever for character studies?

Max Carter
>>145977608

Not sure how you can say that about Mad Men and not also for Sopranos tbh. Tony is an incredible character study, the show starts with him in therapy

asthon

There are TV series before and after The Sopranos, it was a huge turning point and I can't wait for you two to finally get to know this masterpiece.

Richard Rimachi

En mi mente confundí Yellowstone con Yellowjackets jajajaja. De todos modos voto por este porque tengo ganas de ver un western, aunque veo que no ganará

mundanelotus

Barry has such a unique blend of comedy and o shit moments but Sopranos is on another level.

Shiera Seastar

sopranos is gonna be greatl but... is anyone else still mourning the end of hotd s02?? i made the mistake of listening to some of the ost's and i am NOT ok lol 😭😭 feeling like an emotional mess! 😭 wish there were 10 eps or at least no 2 year wait!

Nina

I've never seen the Sopranos but it's been on my list for forever, this'll be a good excuse to watch it with you both, should be fun. Also, I know you guys are interested in Severance but wanted to wait till season 2 got closer, we now know it's gonna start back up in January so I hope you'll be reacting to it in a few months. I know it's too early still though. So shocking to me that so few channels are reacting to it, S1 was my favorite show of that year.

Nina
>>145977608

I like Mad Men overall but the quality of it is a little inconsistent over the seasons. I think they'd still enjoy it though.

Seth

I think Heavenly Delusion should be on the next anime poll

Jack SV

This is the first poll where I’m actually down for all these shows. Now… I will be honest and I say I don’t think you will enjoy Yellowstone or The Sopranos lol I gotta feeling you are going to hate those shows but I could be wrong.. we gonna see :P

Yam

So old :(

Rynsen
>>145977608

I think Mad Men just feels a bit more "real" in the topics it tackles. The difference between the two is kind of like the difference between Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul. Both exceptional, but one just tackles its topics with a much larger amount of depth. Less action, more time to let things breathe. Mad Men is famous for not really having much of a plot, it's just seven seasons of character development.

Jona

Guys vote for Haikyuu please

electriq

yall should watch 3 body problem

enchantertim
>>145977608

What are you talking about? Sopranos is the go-to show for character studies, it set an example for future shows. If anything character study is the show's primary aspect

enchantertim

Woke up this morning, chose the gabagool

Yarrow

Hoooly shit, is it really time for the gabagool??? Oobatz

HenryM
>>145985351

I can't wait for them to watch Severance, it's perfect for their post episode discussions/theories

Veya
>>145977608

Sopranos is just as deep of a character study and completely changed televsion. If you’re a fan of modern american tv, sopranos is a large part of that. Also the main character of sopranos is one of, if not, the single most fleshed out character on television and influenced characters like walter white and a lot of different anti-heroes including the main character from mad men. Also mad men’s creator wrote on the sopranos so there’s an overlap of the same type introspective character drama.

Veya
>>145987980

Are they doing four seasons? Isn’t there only three books? I’m guessing they’re splitting one of the three into two seasons then?

electriq
>>145987980

season 4 wont for years considering they said season two wont be out before 2026 😭

Mike Conlin

We need to pump up those Mad Men numbers!

Sebastian

i was hoping mad men would at least be within striking distance 😭

Victor Pacini

Mad men is so much better then sopranos it's not even comparable

Veya
>>145972058

Mad men is a deeper show but succession is a better blend of comedy and drama. Both are very superb shows though.

ODIS
>>145985819

It's like you don't know who LM is lol. A guy in his sister's body getting turned on by it and touching himself/herself? Lol they'll puke. And the whole thing with Robin at the end... Yeah no.

Steven Cavanagh

I highly Recommend the Amazon Animated Series Legend of Vox Machina, it has 2 seasons with it's 3rd starting in October, and has 12 episodes per season. I genuinely think you would enjoy it, plus there are a lot of voices in it you would very likely recognize.

Yami

Anything is better than Yellowstone or Barry.

Chris Butler

I think Barry would resonate the most with the girls. Plus it’s the shortest show here.

Pelamis

As far as future recommends "Gomorrah" was a great story and performed really well (8.6/10 on IMDB), if ever looking for 5 seasons of something Sopranos-like later, it's Italian with English subs on MAX.

Kara
>>145992203

I'm honestly happy with 13% (as of right now) in a single-choice poll with Sopranos and Barry lol. Still viable long term.

Kara
>>145993262

The channel was born for the girls to watch Mad Men. I will never concede this, its so perfectly attuned to their tastes. I will never give up.

Seth
>>145985819

Dude they’ve watched far worse lmao y’all are weird asf pretending like they’re little kids who can’t handle anything sexual 🤦🏼‍♂️

Kara
>>145984552

shows getting shorter and seasons feeling like "part one/part two" instead of full seasons is very depressing to me. Remember LOST? House? 20+ episode seasons, 7 seasons a piece. absolute madness, I miss that era where characters had room to fuck around and play and breathe.

Kaycee

Sometimes I’m having a good day but then I remember Lola watched Dark off camera and we will never see those reactions 😔 I will mourn the reactions that could’ve been 🪦🕊️

Kara
>>145975193

We need to get Sopranos off the board at some point. It's one of the last long legacy shows they haven't covered or watched before. Might as well be now.

Kara
>>145975102

It's really good TV but I would go in with reasonable expectations. It's not the perfect show the mega fans would have you believe. It also came before a lot of modern innovation in pacing and structure, so it drags a bit especially near the end. Well worth watching though, at its best its really good.

Kara
>>145973122

I hope so! I've certainly voted tactically in the past btw, and would again if the split was close.

Kara
>>145987980

I legit thought this got cancelled. I'm not watching it until it's finished, I'm not being burned like with Westworld.

Kara
>>145971955

crying in the fetal position when the next poll is "Mad Men vs Andor", like I'm being forced to choose which of my children dies.

Kara

Picture this: The year is 2026. Mad Men won the next long show poll in a landslide. You're watching the girls react to S3E13, "Shut the Door. Have a Seat" for the first time, knowing what's about to happen. Your wife comes home from her $350k a year job designing military drones for Lockheed Martin, she sees you locked in and leaves you to it. There's a pizza on the way, your skin is clear, your parents are back together and they love you. Life is good.

Veya
>>145987980

It’s confirmed for three seasons from what i read and it’s based on finished books so the GoT creators can’t really mess it up lol.

Avery

Need a rally for Mad Men!

Berezant

I agree Sopranos is a cornerstone of TV, but I can't help but think Barry would be a better fit for the channel. Plus Lola was a marine!

Veya
>>145993262

Sopranos has the more developed main character and frankly they tackle different aspects of human nature. They are in fact very comparable considering the creator of mad men wrote on sopranos and he flatout said he learned how to structure his show based off it. Both are slice of life shows and focus more on in between moments than big drastic events (usually). Mad men may win the next poll if Sopranos voters vote for it next time since they are ultimately more similar to each other than Sopranos is to Barry. Not sure about Yellowstone.

Veya
>>145975102

No shows are perfect. Breaking Bad is the closest in terms of consistency, but even it has some flaws (the marie subplots, the kids are pretty much plot devices). These shows are considered the best because of their peaks and baseline writing not because they’re perfect. And in terms of structure and pacing, sopranos is as modern as any non ultra serialized show. It’s just that most shows are super serialized and every plot generally leads somewhere and feels more integrated. But you can look at something like atlanta or the bear and see similarities and they are both modern shows. Also mad men had the same structure and pacing.

Sebastian
>>145992203

yeah thats not too bad considering its competing against one of the most popular shows of all time lol

Sebastian

serbia up 11 at half against the usa’s dream team, anything is possible… maybe mad men still has a chance 👀

Antonio

Mad Men and Yellowstone voters, you have the chance to do the funniest thing right now.

Kara
>>146007246

You'll never get that big a swing sadly. You can peel off MAYBE 10% total, across both shows, but more likely less, cuz most people vote once then close the app and forget forever. We REALLY had to push for the last swing (forgot what it was) and that was less than 5% lol.

James Long

I have been trying to think what shows could be good for future live action show polls. Season 1 of True Detective, Fargo, and Chernobyl are the first shows that come to mind.

refo44
>>146009774

They already watched True Detective S1 and Chernobyl on their own time

Kara
>>146009774

season 1 and 2 of Fargo are actually peak TV but season 3 is mid and season 4 is abysmal. season 5 was quite good, so its the weirdest show to recommend, you have to convince them its worth watching 3/5 seasons of an anthology show lol

James Long
>>146009774

Ok, I was wondering. Succession and Dark were the only ones I really knew about. Have they seen The Crown?

David

What happened to Severance ? You said in one of your videos a while back that you were going to watch that 😐

Rynsen
>>146016869

New season is in January. They'll probably watch in December.

David

I voted for Yellowstone coz it’s the only one from that bunch I’ve seen in full, but I can see from the percentage votes so far that it’s probably gonna come in last. 😬 I’ve tried getting into the Sopranos a few times but can never get past the first few episodes - I just didn’t find any of the characters likeable. Watched a couple of episodes of Barry and it was pretty good, I plan to get back to it at some point.

Elli

Anything but Yellowstone. Trash TV.

John Jehling

Throw out Yellowstone and put in My Brilliant Friend. Then make an executive decision to watch it otherwise you'd never get to it.

the chosen one

I hope you guys also know that sopranos fans are nothing like breaking bad fans. So the comments won’t be a problem like they were during that.

Junkboy

Barry would be better for them but as I experience with Monster and Haikyu! sometimes the polls choose differently.

Bandar_98

add YOU on netflix in the poll please

ODIS
>>145985819

It has absolutely nothing to do with things being sexual... The fact that that's what you think the issue with the show is reaffirms my assumption that you don't know LM.

Seth
>>145985819

What a weirdo, I been watching them 5 years they’re grown adults who can handle shocking scenes and tragedies. You sound 14 lmao

Nyeisha Melvina Clark

Out of these options, I have only seen The Sopranos and while it is a popular choice amongst your subscribers for you ladies to watch. I honestly don't really think you ladies will enjoy that show. I'm not saying the show is horrible, but I just don't think it would be your cup of tea. We'll see how this poll turns out though.

the chosen one
>>146041416

Why do you think that? I think the character depth and realism will make them love it plus the themes. The characters aren’t good people but they love succession and think Walter white is one of the best characters they’ve seen so that won’t be an issue I don’t think, especially since the show is so well written you still like those characters and love some of them.

Veya
>>146041416

If you can enjoy succession or breaking bad you shouldn't really have an issue with sopranos. the only issue is that the show is slower and more introspective than breaking bad but I don't think they're watching for the action anyways.

Shiera Seastar
>>145984552

I totally agree! And the same is happening with anime too! We took those longer shows for granted 😭 Honestly I just think it's late stage capitalism working it's way into the entertainment industry leading to a race to the bottom, and it's only gonna get worse...

Max Carter
>>146023139

Holy crap wasn't expecting to see another person recommending My Brilliant Friend. That show is seriously top tier

Max Carter
>>146019983

Yeah Yellowstone stinks, never got the appeal of it. Some group of people turns up, Kevin Costner tells them to get off his land and repeat for like 8 seasons So bad

asthon
>>146041416

I think there's a chance they won't like it, but it depends on what they're expecting from the show. On the other hand, the girls must have some interest, otherwise they wouldn't put it in the poll

TeddyBearBonfire
>>146002723

Same haha, my all-time favourite show, and I'll never get to see my fave reactors react to it >_<

JATLA

I’m so happy The Soprano’s is winning after the trauma of trying to vote Monster in the last poll😂

John Jehling

It's such an incredible show.

Veya
>>146077159

It’s really seven lol. The final season is twice as long as a normal season and iirc the showrunner sees it two but i think for pay or production reasons or w/e it became one.

Yarrow
>>146004343

Yo Lola was a marine? That's some wild lore I didn't know

cosmotron

Every time I see Yellowstone for a second I think it's Yellowjackets and get excited.

Knot

The sopranos has the best theme hands down

Abide

I hope Sopranos is two a week so they get through it faster. There are so many good shows for them to get to lol

Payam Sharifi
>>146009774

Nah having just rewatched season 3, it's so underrated. Wouldn't put it above the first 2 but man it's great. 4 is a bit of a mess but I still think there are some really strong elements.

Matt C

i cant believe people pay for this stuff
