Happy birthday Lola 🎉 As Keir said: Be ever merry.

Cole

Cobel singing that chant is one of my favourite parts of the show. So fucking weird. It feels like David lynch made this at times.

Isaac

Happy Belated!

HenryM

Happy belated bday 🎉

I choose to believe Irwing is canon now. Nobody can tell me otherwise.

ODIS

You're saying Irving's name almost correctly, but there's no W. It's Irving, not Irwing. So, not Eerving, or Irwing, but IrVing. And Happy belated birthday, Lola!

One explanation for Dylan's outie being cool with Milchick coming into his house is that it seems likely Milchick does the onboarding/introductions for Lumon, like we saw with Helly in Ep 2. So Dylan's outie would have already met and been familiar with Milchick prior to the whole closet thing.

Do yourselves a huge favor and watch 7 8 9 in one sitting

To the question about Milchik being in Dylan’s home, I assume since earlier in the season when Mark was calling out he talked to Milchik, that is the same for everyone in this area of the severed floor. He’s the main point of contact between the outies and the innies. I think there was a suggestion about the severed status of Milchik, Harmony, and Graner (security guy). They all been depicted to have conversations about work outside of the floor, so that leads me to believe they do not have a chip, but the idea of them having a chip that is always turned off is interesting.

It's funny you say that about shows based on video games being so good cause it's been a more recent development, tradition used to be that video game based shows/movies (mostly movies) were absolutely horrible. The new Borderlands movie is a reminder of what it used to be like.

Dylan's outie knew what was going on. He either knows Milchick from his orientation at Lumon (like Helly does) or he introduced himself and explained the situation. They went into the closet -- and told Dylan's son to wait outside and count to 1,000 -- so the innie wouldn't learn about Dylan's outside life. When he switched back to outie, Dylan asked "Are we good here?" as in, "Did you do what you needed to do?".

About all the remake reboot talk I don't want to be all doom and gloom cause obviously there's still a ton of amazing original new shows coming out (anything Nathan Fielder makes) but its insane that the creator of THE SOPRANOS literally the greatest show ever can't get funding for a new show he wants to make because it's a new ip. How are up and coming people supposed to exist in hollywood when they can't even take chances with people who have more than proven themselves.

the kier/egan doctrine is so unsettling, it’s almost like if henry ford founded his own version of scientology. also happy (belated) birthday!

Rahaf

Happy late birthday, Lola!

Darrach

The fact that they can read the difference between Irwing and Irving, but don’t understand how that translates to a different pronunciation is quite interesting. A little example of second-language blind spots I guess!

Dannigom

off topic but i hope yall will eventually put my hero academia on a poll 🙏 the last season is coming in 2025

Kaycee

If you really want to know how to say Irving; the "V" in Irving is pronounced like the "V" in the word "very". Also happy belated birthday <3

Darrach

I like MHA but I don’t think it’s for them, too ‘shounen-y’ to put it in a word

Dannigom

i get you. i just thought maybe it was a possibility since they watched stuff like hunter x hunter lol

Kara

This does get cleared up but Mark and the macrodata refinement team are "full-time innies" because they work full-time hours, like 9-5pm monday to friday. That's what "full-time work" is in office. "Part-time work" means less than that, like 10 hours a week, or just monday-tuesday or something. It's not referring to someone being their innie 'all the time'.
