James Long

Top 3 episode of the series for me.

Isaac

Probably my favorite episode. Merry Christmas, everyone!

Camzeee

Merry Xmas! This is my favorite episode of the series. Can you please grace us with a long and detailed series review after you finish the show? I want to hear everything about your thoughts on characters and the plot for the show as a whole. There's so much to discuss!

Cole

This episode was the best Christmas present I could’ve gotten. I don’t care what people say about season 2 I love this show so much.

T T T

LMAO "OCEAN OF TEARS"

Yic17

The writers of this show are truly genius ..... this episode is SO good. Oh, and Merry Christmas! =D

Raphael

Ekko with one episode became a top 3 fav character to me.

Jay

As critical as I’ve been of this whole season, I’ve gotta say this episode was a masterpiece 10/10, easily my favorite episode of the whole show. I just think it’s Ironic isn’t it ? Jinx is A Lot happier living in a world where Vi is dead but everyone else is alive then in a world where everyone else is dead and Vi is alive. It Almost made it seem like Vi has been the real jinx in the show all along.

Lychee

Marry Christmas. Whatever writer came up with this episode is an absolute genius. It works so incredibly well and yet it's impossible to predict. I also love the decision to put it after episode 6 even though it doesn't fit there chronological.

Hollow

Tears, my favourite gift!

HenryM

Merry Christmas! Thank you for the tears 😁

sand_fl

merry christmas everyone :) yeah, possibly one of my favourite episodes of the show, though it makes me very sad, specially after all the shit i read on twitter afterwards about vi 🙃my girl vi can't catch a break with the audience, she always gets blamed for everything

BigJo H

As a bonus, if you look up the lyrics of the song playing while ekko and powder are dancing, it will make you cry more.

Duvymoose

This was my favourite episode of the entire series.

Robert H.

You've probably already seen the lyrics to the song, but I really liked the following edit. It cut the scenes together very well and matched the lyrics. Unfortunately I only found it as a short. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5eCuKlzivCY

im not ready for this reaction LMAO i genuinely believe no episode of any show ever has ever emotionally affected me like this one has

Wallas

Merry Christimas 🎄

all due respect here but i think that's unfair. not the ironic part, i agree with you there, it really is ironic, but i've seen many people saying that vi was actually the jinx and it makes me a bit mad and specially sad because she did nothing wrong and some people have hated her since ep3 of s1 for lashing out after losing more than half of her family. you can blame her for taking them on the job that started it all but you can equally blame ekko for following jayce or powder for setting the monkey bomb. i think that people love jinx so much (can't blame them because i adore her too) that they end up unconciously blaming vi for everything.

Brogan

Best EP of the season imo, can't wait to watch! Merry Christmas and happy new years! 🎉

Wallas

Your reaction is killing me...for me this was the kindest episode of the season

flawlessmisery

finally. the second the credits rolled the first time I watched this I was like ... I can't fucking wait for L and M to react to this. absolute cinema. merr chrihmas everybody 🎉

Robert H.

What else I can mention: The Blue Rose Necklace, which Powder ends up putting in the drawer with the hextech crystals she probably took with her when Jayce's office exploded, features a blue flower, which typically stands for unfulfillable love (Frieren cough cough Himmel cough cough). In general, Powder seems to lock them away, so I wouldn't expect her to bring Hextech to the other universe herself.

The finale Arc of Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood or Avatar The Last Airbender are really emotional too. It's hard to rank that :D

Nyeisha Melvina Clark

The ship name is TimeBomb and in 1 episode, they managed to become the best ship in all of Arcane with EASE. As I said before Ekko is literally the best thing in this world. He is the best boy, a perfect boy and seeing him this episode tore me to shreds. This is my favorite episode of this season hands down. Seeing what could have been though was gut wrenching and I loved how it shows us that Ekko and Jinx/Powder will always have a connection no matter the universe. But Ekko choosing to go back to save his world even though it meant giving up something he has always wanted is what makes him the best person in this entire show and wayyy too good for this world.

Darrach

Probably the best episode of Arcane, both seasons.

Robert H.

This episode just reminds me a lot of Attack on Titan 4x04 and 4x28, where we see a festival/party in the war-torn world. It feels really cruel as a viewer.

Jinx is happier here because she has a family to support her. Vi wasn't the problem, Hextech being created and used as a weapon and the war between Zaunites (which resolved peacefully here) was the issue. Vi dying only made sure Jayce couldn't ever create it because he was responsible for the death of a child and Piltover was already making moves in favor of Zaun, like the ventilation system Caitlyn's mom invented, so it was natural that Vander and Silco united to help make the case for Zaun being given equal rights.

Jay
>>159371242

I think you misunderstood my comment, I should have expanded on it a bit more. I Didn’t say Vi was the jinx, I said that this episode ALMOST made it seem that way even tho thats obviously not the case. You can go back to the first couple of episodes and put more blame on other characters if you really think about it.

kuzma kuzma

bar kod vas pada snijeg, u zagrebu trulo na max. vec stotu godinu za redom. ovaj crying fest je bio vrlo expected 😭

sand_fl
>>159371242

yeah, probably just jumped right into it after seeing so many negative comments about vi in other reactors' comment section and twitter ngl sorry if i came off a bit rude or something, i've just been fed up on the negativity of the audience in general. i just struggle to believe the vi hate because she was also a kid when all that happened and went through the same shit powder did, well, maybe not the guilt of being the one that accidentally caused it but she suffered the same loss but somehow people don't symathise with her the same way they do with jinx. she was imprisoned as a child and got beaten often down there and when she came out looking for her sister all THAT happened. she can't catch a break and it's awful seeing so many people say things like 'she should have died' after seeing this episode as if vi being alive was the cause of everything wrong in their universe. ps: always love seeing you in the comment section because fieren + hamburg stake ❤️

No worries, merry Christmas !!🎁 🎅 also I’m jealous of your Frieren tattoo 🥲

NovB13

If your biggest (and only) issue about Arcane S2 is the pacing (that’s most people’s main complaint), that proves how amazing the show truly is. I’ve seen sooooo many complaints online how the show was ruined because of the pacing. Like WHAT?!?! I think the expectations coming off of S1 were just too high for a lot of people.

Max Carter
>>159386579

I think they just needed to cut back on all the weird music video segments. The show is quite dark and gritty and then they have these quite terrible songs with montages constantly. Overall I liked S2 a lot though

Berezant

I'll echo everyone saying this is a brilliant episode. Being fluent in French, that dance scene sure hit different! Also I get misty just seeing Vi's necklace on Powder, Fortiche put so many details in Powder's fashion and style, it's insane.

Xxx

u guys didnt talk abt Ekko and Jinx much this episode ): but one of my fav episodes of Arcane overall

Camzeee
>>159376938

I still prefer CaitVi as a ship because of how much time they had and because of S1. But this episode is my favorite of the show.

Gknow G

TIMEBOMB over everthing

Jorginho

btw heimerdinger is a yordle and yordles dont die they just respawn. there is a way to kill them I think but not this explosion. Vex is a league character whose whole characters is based on the fact that she cant die and is depressed

Ze Emotion

there are 4 frame for second during the dancing...

Reed

You guys should look up the lyrics for "ma meilleure ennemie" that played during the ekko and powder dance scene. Only if you wanna cry again.

alex otis

Best episode of the show. Just a constant sad smile on my face while watching. The music is beautiful. And that song heimerdinger sings is just so powerful with ekko and Jayce walking through the different realities. And it’s just awesome to see a healthy powder. I’ve watched this episode more than any other as it’s just a good time. I’m certainly not upset to see a world where things are good. I’m a little sad that they were so upset during the episode and kept wanting to not be in this world where things are good. But I get it. But also, enjoy it please. Cause it’s awesome. And the world we come from is anything but awesome at this moment.

Vitor

This is my favorite episode of the season (and basically the only one i dont have any complaints about) Like you girls said, this shows shines when it focus on the characters

Joshua Miller

9:08 thats gotta make it into the "LM out of context video"

alex otis
>>159371511

I totally agree. Somehow jinx/powder gets all the sympathy and vi more often than not is an after thought to most people. Which makes me sad. Vi is my favorite character on the show. Could be because I’m a big brother and so I connect with her in that way. But she has been through so much. I mean prisoner for 7 or so years and getting beat the whole time is pretty upsetting. Somehow jinx being taken in by silco and going full on nuts and killing people is more sympathetic to most of the crowd.

alex otis
>>159386579

Dang I really enjoyed the music videos in each episode this season. Was a different way to pass some time and get us into the mood/world we will be in for each episode. Songs were a bit corny but I really enjoyed all of them.

Rahaf

While everyone really enjoyed this episode, y'all looked so miserable the whole time 😂

Imad Maali

I don't know if you know. but a scene was deleted in season 1 where ekko tries to save jinx from silco and in which she rejects him about 3 months after the end of episode 3. that's why she calls him “the boy savior” in episode 7

Ninaly

This was my favourite episode of the whole show and I'm so glad you girls felt the same.

alex otis

Yeah this is a tough watch. It’s really hard watching you girls be so mad and sad and in pain while watching this. I feel almost the exact opposite reactions and truly love being away from chaos of our normal world. And seeing all these people alive and more importantly healthy in powders case is just magnificent. It’s hard to watch you two being so sad while I am so happy.

Jason Calloway

I was doing a lot of cry laughing too. It's so beautiful, but soo cruel. I can't even process why I was laughing at some of the moments. The moment where you see Benzo, Vander, and Silco being the adults at what seemed like a prom-like party, my heart was suspended.

Harfie

finally caught up with the series and your reactions. I adore Ekko and Powder and I adore this universe, I hate our main storyline lol

Leo Carbajal

I have never seen two humans in more suffering. Thank you for another brilliant reaction, this one was tough.

Sai

Such an amazing episode. Ekko gave up the world of his dreams to go and help his. Truly the MVP of the series.
