"Never more than twelve." You two are my absolute FAVORITES. Thank you thank you thank you for doing this show!

If you remember back in EP 8 Anto Kreeger is the name Luthen brought up to Saw Gerrera for him to work with when he was offering spare parts

I'm having strong Fritz Lang flashbacks.

“We've chosen a side. We're fighting against the dark. We're making something of our lives.” “Never more than 12.” My mom dropped me off at the theater in 1977 to see Star Wars IV New Hope. I remember excitement of people, the lines being long, and the cost of the tickets as $3 US instead of the normal $1.25. Over the years, I have never really been into Star Wars, much less a fanatic, but I do appreciate Star Wars and glad it exists. My recommendation for people who have never watched Star Wars and want to, is to start with Andor first, then Rogue One, and then the original trilogy. Thus, my suggested SW start watch order: 1. Andor 2. Rogue One (2016) 3. IV. A New Hope (1977) 4. V. The Empire Strikes Back (1980) 5. VI. Return of the Jedi (1983)

I'm slightly younger than yourself, but am of the original trilogy generation. I disagree with your watch order however. ALWAYS start with the 1977 original and go through that trilogy, then do the prequels, Clone Wars, Rebels, Bad Batch, then into Andor and Rogue One. Then the other series and sequels afterwards. The reason being, that Andor is too grounded to be Star Wars imo, it does not give the tone of what the universe is supposed to be - though of course it does do dystopia very well. For a much more Star Wars vibe to this time period, Rebels is peerless - and it also tells of the building of the Rebel Alliance from another crew. Don't get me wrong, there is much to love from this series; yet if I want to watch some Star Wars, generally this will be nearer the bottom of the list in terms of choices - same with R1 imho. The great thing about the franchise however, is that there is choices galore for people and families of all ages, experiences and tastes; so I'm glad this series is available for those that love it.

Yep, Star Wars music is generally superb and rarely falters. I think Kevin Kiner and his kids, are the successors to the John Williams mantle for the franchise; but many other composers who have done SW music, also have made some tremendous music. However, I do think the soundtrack for the second season of Andor, is more forgettable, and they changed composers from Britell, to someone else, and it was felt.

No need to ALWAYS start with the 1977 original. Would lose a lot of viewers new to SW. Andor and R1 (immediate prequel to 1977 original) much better start point. The viewer would adapt just fine to tone in transition from Andor/R1 to the original trilogy. Importantly, the viewer would be committed and have a better understanding for the 1977 original. Also, skip Clone Wars (133 episodes), Rebels (75 episodes), and Bad Batch (47 episodes) on first watch through SW content. The vast majority of new viewers of SW content would not be willing to commit that time. Also, stick with live action. I suggest Andor be the only series.

Depends on the viewer. I've gotten 3 people now through Star Wars by going complete chronological order (including Clone Wars/Rebels/Bad Batch). All of this was before Andor. If you KNOW its someone you can get to commit to watching it's fantastic. *However.* I'm seriously contemplating starting anyone new to SW with Andor first, then RO then the OT.
