2026-09-19 14:00 Don had two excellent choices. At least he chose instead of continuing to do both. The falling in love part seemed to come out of the blue -- I guess Don is smitten. Don: "I've been thinking about you so much." Megan: "I know that you have a good heart." Megan: "I love you, you know." Lola: "The jury is still out on why." I'm w/Henry. Final scene (Betty/Don) did have weight. Initially, Betty smiled and her eyes lit up looking at Don - she so physically beautiful in that moment. Too bad she deals w/her dark and childlike side. She is better off with Henry than Don. Whisky A Go-Go club is world famous. "As long as there has been a Los Angeles rock scene, there has been the Whisky A Go-Go, an anchor on the Sunset Strip." Opened January 16, 1964 and still going today.

You two have watched TOO MUCH prestige TV and are now TOO TALENTED at analyzing it and surmising would come this episode how many weeks earlier...bravo

PIG

I'm very curious of what LM will think about Season 5.

PIG

Link didn't work for me but I think that's really interesting. Agreed. The set is a huge part of this show.

PIG

Again, I understand that Don is a piece of crap, but I don't understand why the reactors have no anger towards the women who obviously know that he is unavailable. The bitterness is always just oneway in specifically this. Even at work, I'm finding a lot of men siding with men, and women side with women. It's crazy.

I understand that Don is a piece of crap (he inflicts pain on the people around him as inflicts pain on himself), but I don’t get why the reactors never show any anger toward the women who clearly know he’s unavailable. The bitterness always seems to go one way in situations like this. Even at work, I’m noticing that men tend to side with men and women with women. It’s crazy.

Current running shows: Andor + Rogue One - March 17, 2026 Mad Men - April 25, 2026 Release schedule for next shows: - Pluribus (November 7, 2025) - Fallout (December 17, 2025) - A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms (January 16, 2026) - One Piece LA (March 10, 2026) - Inivincible (March 11, 2026) - The Boys (April 6, 2026) - House of the Dragon (Summer 2026) - The Bear (Summer 2026) My current impression of The Boys Season 5 because of the trailer: not good. Jujutsu: Noob normie pick Legend of the Galactic Heros: Elite anime enjoyer

Robert Dirk H.

The Legend of Galactic Heroes would be awesome, but I think they don't want another political tv show/anime between different ideologies right now. I think the best pick would be either Steins;Gate after losing 8 times in the polls, a romance anime or something special like March Comes Like A Lion, Mushishi, Chihayafuru or Ghost in the Shell.

Robert Dirk H.

After Mad Men we have to watch short shows. 2027 is packed too with The Last of Us, Invincible, Severance, Pluribus Season 2 and more. I think we get a poll between the shows which get thinner and thinner until we are up to date. Also the short show slot still has other shows like The Pitt, The Penguin, Firefly and Adolescence. The Long slot also has not many shows left, so in 2 years we will probably watch more shorter shows twice a week. I think only Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Barry, Six Feet Under and Hannibal are left.

Oh god please just not JJK!

Ridley

This is a bit off topic, the film One Battle After Another starring Leonardo DiCaprio that just came out, is like the perfect film for you 2 to react to ngl.

on crip ...

the other woman's morals should be questioned. but Don is worse bc he's the one in the exclusive relationship, not the women he cheats with

Scott

There's a 95% chance that LM would put Six Feet Under in their favorite shows oat list, but like Jamie said, the viewership would be extremely small, even smaller than Mad Men. It sucks, I know. When it comes to the combination of quality, popularity, and appealing to LM's tastes, Buffy the Vampire Slayer seems like the clear #1 choice. It's maintained enough cultural relevance to the point that a sequel series is now in the works, and most of the main cast feel like they were made in a lab for LM to fall in love with.

Clay F

As for recent, I am fortunate they reacted to Sopranos and now Mad Men and Andor = 3 of my favorite series all time.

PIG

Yeah, Don is to take most of the blame, I agree. Also, I think LM do actually care for Don, even if he whiplashes us with his behavior. Deep down he is a good person, his pain just manifests through the want of sex with another person and casting that illusion. Caring for a character makes it more hurtful than a character you don’t know as much about. Don’t get me wrong! I love LM insights and listening to their thoughts, with a show this deep you learn something new with reaction videos because it’s a new perspective. I was just confused about this one little blind sight was all. Surely these women in the show should receive some blame. (I don’t know how many times women have come on to me more after my own marriage than before, but it’s certainly a lot more).

GrayStark

The chainsaw man movie releases on digital DEC. 9! Tomorrow!!

Sebastian

Six Feet Under is so clearly the correct choice for them, and it really bums me out if all we get are newer mid-tier shows instead. Can you just imagine the amount of "my beautiful baby boy, I would die for him" David would trigger? I guess Buffy could be fun, but the quality is pretty uneven, to be fair.

Scott

Buffy's uneven/weak filler episodes have honestly gained a bit of charm in today's TV landscape where we get 8 episodes every 2-3 years, and every single scene needs to be pertinent to the overarching plot. I finished watching the show for the first time last year, and the whole thing just felt like a breathe of fresh air. Some people will disagree, but I'd give a 10/10 to the entire experience, warts & all.

Sebastian

To be fair, Mad Men never did an episode where Peggy gets catfished by a robot, and the show is possibly lesser for it.
