I think the reaction might come after Bocchi finishes in 2 weeks, there will be a gap before Frieren comes out, but let's hope for a Christmas surprise maybe 🥲

I can't picture a scenario where they'd decide to not react to the movie. They've loved Chainsaw Man so far. Speaking of the movie, I still need to watch it. I was hoping to wait until Crunchyroll had it, but I've already seen a spoiler this week. Gotta be careful these days. 😔

There's a strange comfort seeing anxiety portrayed in a far more intense but believable degree compared to how you are currently/were previously. It's been a cozy watch and I'm sure its helped others feel seen ^^ Think I'll throw some more Canadian stuff out, and similar to 'here's the artist, no particular song' with recommending Arkells. I'm biased towards some of the early stuff around 2011-2016 but their overall easy-listening indie rock vibe has always been enjoyable, I see them in concert pretty much anytime they're in Ontario

they know the movie is out so i think we'll get it soon. I really think the only reason why they havent' filmed it yet it's beacause they moved again from serbia to spain so i think they just didn't have time.

I know this isnt the right place, but have they mentioned anything about the Chainsaw Man movie? It's out on digital and it continues the story, so I would think they would love to watch it since they like all the characters in season 1.

Plenty of people commented so they're probably aware. They never really promise anything with movies, but there's a good chance we'll get it the second week of January after Bocchi is finished and Frieren hasn't started yet, or they could surprise us for Christmas if they're feeling generous.

That would be the most stupid decision ever. I don't believe that leak. It has to be at least 22 episodes to finish up THAT story arc. And I still want 28 episodes, so we can the arc after that too. They could do that arc in a movie too, but I really hope that this is not the case.

I like Frieren a lot, but I can't show that show the unconditional love it wants. Not with the "inherent evil" of the demons. It just makes it boring storytelling.

The only way I can see it being true is if it's only slightly misleading and they're doing a split-cour season now and summer or something.

Split season would be fine. 10 episodes + 3 month break + 12 episodes and then the next arc in a movie.

I haven’t read ahead in the manga but I’ve heard people say that after season 2 there wouldn’t be anymore chapters left to adapt because the manga is on hiatus so it may take years for season 3 to come out 😢

My knowledge on Arabic music is very limited since I don't prefer to listen to it even though I'm Arab, but a singer I absolutely recommend is a Lebanese artist named "Fairouz", she's a legend, if I had to pick a song by her it would be "Al Bostah." Looking forward to next week's reaction!

Fun fact: this show has many references to classic animes, in this chapter, when Bocchi wakes up in the school hospital and says "an unfamiliar ceiling" it is a reference to a scene from Neon Genesis Evangelion (show that I hope you react to soon). Song of the week for you: Ex-factor by Lauryn Hill.
