"... if you're lonely, get a cat." "Dirty." I am so glad that Megan is a main character we get to see a lot. Agree a good episode for Roger, even with him being serviced by a married woman with her husband nearby (the husband who is apparently cheating with a grad student). Roger does seem more calm and at ease with himself. Previously, his dread on his insecurities was tiresome and at times pathetic -- glad he seems to be shaking it.

The layers on Elizabeth Moss’s face during “the proposal” is incredible. Such a damn great actor. Her control on Peggy’s character has made me watch anything she’s ever done after Mad Men.

Boomzone

next episodes ending is my favourite of this whole show

Andrew

I didn't realise Disney had Mad Men. I was watching on Amazon and this episode was not syncing up at all. On Amazon the episode was slightly faster, so that overall it was almost 2 minutes shorter than on Disney. I almost lost my mind. :D

Kara

They really lucked out with casting (more like: they had amazing casting directors w/ AMC production somehow). The show doesn't work if the principles aren't so strong. Elizabeth Moss carries mid shows (cough cough, Handmaid's Tale).

PIG

lol Moss carried Hand Maiden IMO. Incredible concept with an incredible lead… poorly written, especially compare to something as deep as Mad Men.

Are you in the US? The sync with my stream on Amazon Prime in US is perfect. Same when I use HBO Max in US.

Andrew

Germany. But I had this problem before, with other shows and services. Sometimes even the same show on the same platform is different from country to country. And they wonder why people pirate stuff. 😄

The actor you both recognised is Ray Wise, most famous for his role in Twin Peaks

Yeah, US/Canada is 24 frames per second (fps). Sometimes Europe can be 24 fps but is commonly 25 fps (a little faster). So, like you indicated, at times (even on the same platform), the show is 24 fps in US and 25 fps in Europe. Do below when your stream of the episode is a little faster than their stream of the episode, and will work every time for you.

Clay F

Andrew, my guess is your play of episode is 25 fps. Their stream of episode is 24 fps. So to stay synced, speed their stream up a tiny bit (factor 1.0426): 1. If playing their reaction on a PC or laptop, right click on their reaction video and then click "inspect". 2. Then, go to the console tab in the new window that pops up and copy/paste or type in: document.querySelector('video').playbackRate = 1.0426

Clay F

You can tweak that factor 1.0426 but I've found it's best. Note that if you are in a reverse situation (which is common for me), the factor is 0.9591 Works every time for me.

If your stream of the episode is a little faster than their stream of the episode (e.g., as can be the case for some platforms in Europe), do this: 1. If playing their reaction on a PC or laptop, right click on their reaction video and then click "inspect". 2. Then, go to the console tab in the new window that pops up and copy/paste or type in: document.querySelector('video').playbackRate = 1.0426
