Yeah we have heard that barrier chant 2 times before. Once when the stressed glasses guy was putting up a veil around the detention center in ep 4 and once when Mahito was doing it around the school. Also the reason Gojo didn't move faster is he saw that the "effect" of the barrier was completed before its "visual appearance". So it was already in effect. I have watched a lot of reactions to this show but yours is already becoming my favorite!

We now officially have the name of Megumi's technique – Ten Shadow Technique. Noritoshi Kamo explains that it is the main and most coveted technique of the Zen'in clan. He laments Mai and Maki not having inherited it, which shows that behind all his harsh facade he is one that still understands and empathises with the environment created by the major clans and probably having seen his mother's treatment, is especially aware of the twins position. THIS is what the clan expected from the girls which is ridiculous because, like you've said, Megumi seems to be a prodigy. The name of the technique implies that there are 10 Shadows from which Kamo described that the shikigami emerge which logically means that there are 10 shikigami as part of this technique. Megumi does say something very specific before summoning Max Elephant - "I've only recently TAMED it". Does this mean Megumi has to tame the shikigami first before using them and does not have them in his possession from the start? How does one tame them? All question that are prompted from the dialogue in this episode. So far we have seen: - Divine Dogs - Nue (the bird) - Gama (the toad) - Orochi (the snake that Megumi briefly summons while fighting Sukuna in episode 5 which Sukuna destroys) - Max Elephant So we've got 5/10 so far.

AH YES!!!!! The Rockstar Gakukanji, lol. But honestly as much as we all love Yuji, everyone else's reasoning for wanting him dead are very much valid. Sukuna is just too much of a threat to just let walk around here and the only thing keeping him at bay is a teenage boy. I would be concerned too, so I can understand Gakukanji even if I don't agree with him. What I loved about this episode is that Megumi pretty much admitted to not even knowing or caring that his decision to protect Yuji is right or wrong, he will do it anyways because HE decided it's what he wanted to do. Megumi follows his own conscience and judgement and never waivers from that and that's why I love him so much.

Lots of people are shocked when they first see Kyoto principal Gakuganji's technique. It seems so opposite to his conservative and old demeanor. But when you think about it more you realise that it's actually perfect. The principal reminds me of those old rocker boomers that where rebellious when they were young but with age only became more conservative because what they truly believed in was their own freedom only. A lot of them I see today voting for the likes of Trump. Idk maybe I'm reading too much into it. Also, now you know that it is Gakuganji that is playing the guitar at the end of the OP when all the scenes go in reverse
