I feel their frustrations on this show/season. Unfortunately it doesn’t pick up from here.

This episode feels like a microcosm of the problems with this season. Like Milena said, you list out the events on paper it sounds good, and there's even some good moments, but the execution is so off that the whole thing just feels flat. No one episode or moment is horrendous to me, but the pacing and the time wasted on nonsense... things don't feel earned, they fall back on cliches, and the things that need time are rushed.

I don't hate this season as much as everyone else does but it's definitely the weakest of the series. There are a lot of good things in this episodes but I just don't think it comes together as well as it could have. That being said, I do love the next episode and I did quite like the finale even if I do wish the journey getting there was less bumpy and more precise.

chat coming back every week just to torture themselves 🥀 you'd think this season had game of thrones level hype and thats why people are so obsessed with it but it didn't, and people didn't even like season 4 so it makes me even more confused

I'm not sure how far you have watched by now, but in retrospect, the V1 plot, Annie's dad plot, and the virus plot are the stupidest things in the final season. I don't have anything to add that you haven't already criticized. Be ready for the Vought Rising spin-off show advertisement. Time for random old supes in even more random plot in the final season.
