Girls... Do you want to know what happen next? Watch the animeeee! It would be amazing to see you watching the series 🫣🫣 There's so much of your theories that need more information that the anime brings. Really, the Live Action sometimes feels like a "separately lane" because not everybody wants the One Piece, some people just want power, others money, not everyone wants to be "King of The Pirates" In addition. In the anime we know about the Gol D. Roger thing a lot further in the history, so you have a lot more information about that middle name means. Hope you consider watching the anime

I can only hope so as well. I know there are some people that hesitate cause it's a real commitment. But think when they have a road map for the anime and are ready to cross those high seas, we'll be there for their journey. I look forward to it until then.

4 episodes a week are "just" 200 episodes per year. It would still take 7 years. The live action is the only way we can watch the show with them.

It's pretty much confirmed amongst the fans that Zoro is Chopper's adopted Dad within the Strawhats, so seeing that small scene of Zoro not really even speaking to Chopper for more than two seconds but immediately feeling protective over him because he was crying and putting him on his shoulder was beautiful.

Curious if the Straw Hat Jolly Roger being flown in all the protests over the last couple years ever came across their eyeballs. If not then you lot would probably get a kick out of their flag being flown in all these protests against shite governments. It doesn’t get much colder than these pics from the protests in Nepal. The deeper you get in the anime the more sense it makes they are a symbol against tyrannical governments. Man, that dang Oda Sensei really knows his craft lol. Not for nothing but remember how Hunter X Hunter was a “long” anime? Then remember how sad yall were when it ended? You wouldn’t have to worry about that feeling of emptiness for soooooo long with One Piece. Just sayin. Sacrificing two show slots for that journey would be worthwhile. The Oden and Kuma backstories alone are worth their weight in gold. Sigh…

If they end up watching one piece anime at all, it has to be atleast 3 double drops which comes to 6 episodes a week. Anything shorter than watching 6 episodes is not worth it for them imo. Primary reason being, compared to other animes, lot less stuff happens in terms of advancing of the main plot ( of finding one piece), compared to the local island plot, so analysis of every episode could be combined in a double drop and still have less to talk about. This is especially true as we move towards bigger arcs. A single episode in one piece has at most 15-18 mins of actual content if you skip the opening, ending and recaps. I fear they will lose interest if they watch only 4 episodes a week, most of us binged it and it is very enjoyable that way but it will be torturous if they watch less. Would love to see it happen, still don't see that happening though.

I'm so excited to watch season 3 with you girls!! Your theories and analysis are great, as always. The show obviously rearranges and mixes things up from the source material in order to fit into the Netflix format, but I think the way they have been revealing/teasing stuff has been very good for people like you who are new to the series. There are so many mysteries in One Piece, and a lot of them don't even show up so early in the series, so I think it's fun that the live action introduces all these questions and sets up all these big ideas so early so you can start piecing together the world and what the story is all about. I'm on the side that really wishes you would react to the original anime (and i think you would enjoy it despite some of the flaws), but I understand that this channel's model just wouldn't work with such a long series. It could be nice to maybe react up to the Alabasta saga, but I get why you wouldn't want to
