That scene of Barry yelling at Sally had me in shock when I first saw it. We’ve seen Barry go crazy in the War flashback and when he killed all of the people in S2 finale but the fact that he was going crazy in a normal workspace environment made it much more real and terrifying.

Even though Barry threatened to kill Gene’s family, I still wouldn’t necessarily call him a bad guy since he remembered to give Gene his change from his fast food order

I get why people were emphasising that Barry did have some desire to change his ways in season 1+2 but like, it's fucking crazy that anyone would say they felt bad for him based on that bare minimum effort knowing that shit like this was coming up lol

i really like this conflict for sally. it's so realistic but also so surreal that she's running a show about overcoming abuse, and then her insane partner comes to set and abuses her

I think people defending him were talking with just the context of just what they had seen so far because they didn't want to spoil. People defending him probably wanted them to have the same reaction the defenders had where it's a descent for Barry, but I feel like they were talking about Barry by the middle of season 1 the same way to talk about him in this reaction. (This doesn't apply to the one guy recently in the comments but I think he's trolling)

When I think back on Barry, the "You have too many dogs" exchange is always the first thing that comes to my mind. I love how they crank up the absurd humour in S3, reminds me of Twin Peaks
