the fun starts here

Ever since I've started re-watching this show with the girls I'm blown away by the quality of writing. This has to be one of the best detective series ever made.

Try not to read the title of the next episode if you can. It's kinda spoilery.

Andres Osorio

Episode's 7 reaction is blocked unfortunately

Emori

I would say Light has genius level intellect. That's a positive trait I suppose even though he's undeniably evil and a psychopath.

psychopaths are usually geniuses, at least portrayed in shows/movies. because they know how to manipulate and plot and act as if they're innocent when deep down they have some other agenda.

Mohammed Al Jamal

Regarding Light and the magazine, I heard that in the Japanese culture it's seriously disrespectful to do your "business" in the bedroom, and it's commonly done in the bathroom. Many people around the world follow this rule, but in Japan it is taken very seriously. So it makes sense that Light was just looking at the magazine in his bedroom and nothing else, since he is trying to show the figure of the perfect high school boy.

João

Was watching episode 7 and it seems it got copyright striked, any info about that?

sheema

ah yes the iconic I’ll take a potato chip and EAT IT

David Caine

Light's actions speak on their own. He is a psychopath. Whatever goal he has in mind is besides the point, and whether or not he is justified. He is not justified in killing innocents.

Danny

I'm Team L if this was a real case scenario. One person having that much power with a god complex is definitely too dangerous regardless if someone agrees or disagrees with his ideology. However, Light just makes for such an interesting character and I definitely enjoy watching his plots and elaborate schemes unfold. That's why I gotta say Team Light. Nothing against L of course. The man is brilliant and also hella interesting but Light definitely takes the cake.

in the halftime between seasons of AoT there is a gap that Arcane could fill, pls girls, let it happen!!

Jordan Olivier

lol my favorite part is when they say their names, Im like "elena? and lala?" lmaooooo love the reactions girls, keep up the good work

Xenoprism

The potato chip scene is ICONIC :')

Does the task force actually have a plan for if they catch Kira? Are they just going to execute him extralegally? I mean, I don't know how the Japanese legal system works, but say you arrest Kira. How the hell do you bring murder charges against him? They can't explain how he's doing anything he's doing.

He will be tried of course. Considering the significance of the case, it'd be a international court and there's enough grounds for him to be tried for genocide (the meditated and systemic extermination of what Kira deemed the "rotten" of society) and an untold nr. of other charges. He would most certainly be given the death penalty.

Melkor

Lights biggest weakness is his pride I guess because he really didn’t have to taunt L in the tv moment where L tried to make Light panic when hearing 1500 investigators arriving. He literally said. “I wouldn’t be surprised if Kira sees right through this”

Melkor

L is now guilty of violating Light entire families privacy without consent from anyone except the dad. Lol That would count as something illegal wouldn’t it? Since he has cameras even in the bathroom meaning he can also see Light, his sister, his mom and dad and only one of them consented. I think that would count as a crime or am I wrong. XD I mean he is doing it to try and catch Kira but you really see that L is willing to go to any lengths in order to catch Kira including breaking laws.

I think you're wrong. Light's father giving consent means quite a lot and it's for a serious criminal investigation. L is not worse than Light by any stretch.

Brandon Wright

@20:54 You guys watch Killing Eve? Love that show. Are you going to react to season 4 next year?

amir.cricket

lola: "i dont recall a show where the main protagonist is such a bad guy i can call him a demon" what about walter white / breaking bad?

AJ

I take potato chips and eat them!!!!!

AJ

You girls should react to Arcane on netflix

StrawHat

I think this is the worst show to have the sub vs dub debate for because both for this show are eliteee back when I watched it I did sub for the first half and dub for the last half and I couldn't pick which was better lmaoooo

Thamor

When potato chip eating is more work than ever it was supposed to be :D

Zoe Frew

Light is smart but he lets his ego make him talk way too much sometimes 😂
