Mahni Alizadeh

Absolutely don’t I told all my friends not to watch it either lol

Melkor

Lol another Poll.

Sebastian

Thank you for asking us about this. Manga readers you know what to do

Ran Nain

Dude big spoilers; don’t

Jojo

so many spoilers in there

Isaiah Cox

NOO THERE ARE CRAZY SPOILERS IN THERE!!!

ML9

watch, it's hype and it's the final season, enjoy!

Cobo

NOOOOO!!!! DONT WATCH !!! FDSDFGDDDFFFF!😤😤😤

Jojo

don’t watch it if u don’t want to know half of the ending of the show

Horizon xkuni

Ahh it’s a tough one, it’s stunning but they don’t hold back on the spoilers ngl

gouj

As a manga reader there are so many spoliers I had to tell all my friends lol. You shouldn't watch the opening till episode 4-5

Khayta

The opening does show a little too much, but I would still watch it. Also, I am an ANIME ONLY watched so please don’t spoil for me guys!

Al

I hope you don't watch it.. It's literally just spoilers ( from a manga reader)

Yohaan Joseph

I would say no because it's literally just spoilers

Glory.1K__

WAYYYYY TOO MUCH SPOILERS DONT WATCH

Berserker

You guys are way too sensitive over this. Non manga readers will not figure it out

Rania '

It contains spoilers so i don’t recommend watching it

Leo Nykanen

it's a part of the show and made to be the INTRO and not a spoiler, so please do watch it might give some clues thats it

Amir Ali

You can watch it after 3 episodes but don't do it for this one

Hannah N

It spoils two major plot points but it's also really cool and good, do whatever you want

Georgie Acero

but tbh you already kinda know whats coming so whatever you ladies want

R.J. D

Manga reader here. There’s definitely some spoiler imagery in the opening.

Robert H.

What will they do in the event of a tie? 🤔😂

MarcoAHM

It spoils 1 thing which you probably already figured out and something that's just a quick second but as anime onlies you won't get it without context so I say just watch it

Doccyy

Don't watch op until like halfway through the season. Around episode 6. It's fine to watch the ed though.

Amir Ali

Btw when will the reaction be up?

TheBeatcho

guys i am a non manga reader and i watch the opening fully blind of manga spoilers, and now I regret seeing it, there are a couple of scenes that even a non-manga reader can perfectly recognize as spoilers

Al

I think it spoils more than the season 3 part 2 op Also the plot points are way too insane and good to be spoiled by the op

SkippyAlpha

Eh just watch it. It's epic and nearly everyone watches the opening if they aren't a reactor. I say just go for it

ML9

The girls don't need to be shielded and coddled from everything guys, the opening is great, let them watch

Al

Personally don't think you should watch the OP, but I think you should definitely watch the ED!

Mati D.

As a manga reader I say no, just like S3, better be safe, there's no reason to see it if there is a chance of getting spoiled.

sand_fl

I think it would be sad if they don't watch it tbh. The intro is there for something.

Nezumis

For me the problem are the people saying it spoil… if they just don’t say anything, anime only would not know what image a true and which are just opening only. And so people just looking at it without pausing eland looking at it like mad mens would just be hyped and don’t look to much into it and just have theories. But now with all the social media and the numbers looking at it and the huge fear of spoilers (which is understandable) ruin everything. I don’t know for this specific opening, but it’s good to know that the Mangala, Isayama, was directing the others opening/ending and even let things in it that manga reader couldn’t understand at time but later made sense. He also said that the anime was his final version, and modified some things in it. So I like to trust him and all the choices he or the one managing the IP makes.

devan1

It's an amazing opening

Gabriel Tavares

Just watch it. The visuals are incredible, and the "spoilers" are literaly two frames that wont ruined your experience. You can watch it for sure

Calvin Delaney

This Poll is gonna come down to like 1 or 2 votes omg

Merlino

can you understand that for those who already know the events, it is normal that the video seems to contain spoilers? those who do not know the facts are spoilers without contention. Furthermore, we are talking about the opening, up to now they have always seen and appreciated them, so they should do even now.

Gabriel Tavares

OF COURSE for who already know what is gonna happen, that people can see "spoilers". But for you that are anime only you can watch for sureeeee. Its peak visuals

No one

watch it together with the anime reaction

SLK8

The opening is very spoilery, but it's also the endgame. There is little left to "figure" out from the audience perspective. Probably a good time to turn off the brain and enjoy the fireworks.

Suliman XD

Don't watch it, it have a lot of spoilers and it will ruin the fun for you guys

Robert H.
>>75346766

The thing is, you're absolutely right. For example, no one expected a dinosaur titan when it appeared in the third opening. And the opening here doesn't really spoil anything that you didn't already know anyway. My main problem is really just the one image. But it's floating around on the internet now anyway. So this doesn't really matter now. If they see it, then at least with the music and the mood of the opening.

a. tree

Like all openings, the studio intended it to be part of the viewer experience — the only way for it to “spoil” that experience is if people say it will. That said, it seems like people are already doing that, in typical AOT fashion, so…

Anaxagoras

Just watch it, there's only one spoiler in the opening. And it's something that has been foreshadowed many times to happen, so should not ruin anything, dont worry.

Alex Doyle

I think you’d be missing out if you didn’t watch it - the creators wouldn’t put it there if it wasn’t meant to be watched, enjoy the show as intended

Eren Yeager

Watch it! It’s so good

Gabriel Tavares

I think this opening was made to be watched by the fans

Nezumis
>>75346766

I think witch one you're talking about, but if it is it's a split second, if you're not trying to autopsy the op it should be good, but anywaysn it's still an op with actual images, and not just abstract like My War for p1, the one from Death note or others, and I respect people who want to be blind AF for a show. but Like you I also think that once people sait it have spoilers, it's gone because you'll look at it with another eyes :(

Isaac

Should be watched. If anyone has been paying attention to your reactions, they would know that nothing in this particular opening will be a spoiler to them.

MaxVSTheGames
>>75346821

They didn't watch the last opening either until the spoilers in it were out of the way so I don't know what you're talking about.

Edouard Disaro

I mean, the opening's name speaks for itself, we already know what we're going to see in this opening just thank to the name. If I was not a manga reader, I think I would have watched it at least one time. The opening is AMAYZING and we only see spoilers for litteraly 2 seconds.

makimama

I didn't read the manga and didn't skip the op. I loved it! Some comments say it has a lot of spoilers so on my next watch I might subconsciously analyze it more. And you guys are really good at analyzing openings. Nevertheless I wish you 2 enjoy the op. But if you don't, DEFINITELY watch the ed!

Ethan

If you’ve read the manga and are telling them to watch that opening knowing they’ll get spoiled idk what to say

Zekrom XI

Do NOT watch the opening unless you want to get spoiled! Your whole channel is supposed to be a reaction channel so it defeats the purpose of you already know what’s gonna happen. Do NOT watch the opening regardless of these dumb poll results.

Sam

it’s a great opening and the only noticeable spoilers there are very obvious and predictable ones, i see people saying there’s loads of spoilers there’s really not unless the others are really subtle and you wouldn’t catch onto them because i (even as a manga reader) didn’t, id watch

a. tree
>>75347165

I will say, at the least please watch the ED! In my opinion it’s the best ending outro so far!

DovaBro

Even if you watch the opening you will understand nothing... its more hyping

Camzeee
>>75347580

Meh. Lola and Milena have already theorized a lot of what's to come. Being spoiled isn't the be all end all either. Them knowing Erwin's fate before it happened didn't make their reaction any less enjoyable for example.

Víctor G.

This poll is HYPE. I'm on team "Don't watch it", but hey, if they do, IS GOING TO BE FIRE. So please people, keep it cute

PS

if you are watching only watch it once, without pausing

Mati D.
>>75347580

Lmao yeah FilmBuff already knew everything after the first episode, but i still think it's better if they go full blind, even if they already theorized of what can happen.

Patrick

(Also a lot of the comments about watching the opening are like ‘I want to see your reaction to it spoilers don’t matter’ and not ‘it won’t spoil anything’)

Vasto

There are for sure spoilers, your decision really. Btw Death Note today?

Cas_nc12

While this opening is really hype and good I would just not watch it for a few episodes because after like idk maybe ep 4 or 5 the spoilers won't be spoilers anymore, especially with you guys who are really good at noticing things I would suggest just to wait a few epsidoes

Subaru

I'd say watch after episode 5 for the best experience. So right down the middle

Revivizi

For people saying, "it would be a shame if they didn't watch it". You do realize that they are going to watch it eventually? So why not wait for a few episodes and then watch it. It's standard practice when it comes to anime op

Ibinhio

I wouldn’t watch the opening until after a few episodes. The ending is fine tho, theres not much to it

Mati D.

After watching episode 1 this Season is gonna be next level...

Isaac
>>75346638

I agree with the logic that everyone painting it as a spoiler presents it as one. However, LM have already talked about everything shown in the intro as a certainty, during their last few reactions. There's no world where they watch the opening a few episodes later and don't say "Oh, I already 100% expected this"

Gustavo

Personally I think you should watch it, it's the way the creators of the show intended for you to experience it. Also, I love democracy haha.

-
>>75347580

Spoilers? LOL they have been teasing the rumbling for so long now, tbh you have to be kinda slow to think it may not happen

Sergeant Jay

Let them watch the opening for crying out loud it’s the final season people let them enjoy it !!!!

Jay- Esque

Are you all uploading tonight?

Christian Medeiros

The spoiler people are talking about is part of the lyrics and is something they've already been shown/predicted. There is nothing else besides that so I think it'd be good to watch without analyzing it.

Daniel Lerma

Just watch it, but don’t pause or overanalyze things.

Yume

If you don't mind massive spoilers in the OP then watch it. If you don't want massive spoilers DO NOT WATCH IT lmao.

Tyler Castline

If y’all wouldn’t say they were spoilers, then they wouldn’t know, this on all y’all. Remember season 2’s Op has a ton of fucking animal titans and that was not a spoiler. I blame the fans. Watch it, great Op.

Subaru

Also if you do watch the OP please find a version with lyrics

Camzeee

The poll is so close! Although since the music as well is considered 'spoiler-y' it would also make it a huge hassle to skip past and then to edit the episode without seeing/hearing some stuff. It's in your best interest to watch it and keep it in in terms of 'production'. Just offering a different angle ;)

Ren Jaecks

Wtf are all those yes votes this literally has more spoilers than any other opening so far!

Ren Jaecks

Please don't watch it! Not for a few episodes at least anyway

Ren Jaecks

Ending is okay though, no spoilers there

Jed U

It has a lot of spoilers y'all might notice if you haven't read the manga and really look into it, which I assume you 2 will. It might be fine after a specific point, probably after 6-8 episodes depending on the pace the anime goes, but I'd avoid it for the start of the season at the very least. The ending credits are pretty safe though

Hængeklumpen

Ed is fine, op is full of major spoilers

devan1

This comment section is Paradise vs Marley LMAO

Noctys
>>75348332

The creators of the show also assume 100% of planet Earth has already read the manga, Japan doesn't give a shit spoiling anime-onlies

Noctys
>>75347661

Lol have you even watched their reactions and theories ? This opening would spoil them so much, and any anime onlies with more than two brain cells lmfao

Noctys
>>75347607

Even if it's "predictable" if leaves them no room to theorize, it's a huge spoiler lmfao just wait a few weeks

My Toasty Toast

The Ending/closing is totally fine. The opening has spoilers, but it’s nothing neither of you haven’t theorized, a couple you’ve outright said is absolutely going to happen in your discussions. But ultimately do whatever you are comfortable with

JT

the opening is full of spoilers, the music isnt as good as last seasons so ur not missing much

Noctys
>>75347273

The creators of the show also assume 100% of planet Earth has already read the manga, Japan doesn't give a shit spoiling anime-onlies

Noctys
>>75347165

The creators of the show also assume 100% of planet Earth has already read the manga, Japan doesn't give a shit spoiling anime-onlies

Cas_nc12

Since this poll is very close I would just suggest waiting just a few episodes for the opening it should be good by then

Merfhew

Either way is fine.

hman70
>>75348937

Take a step back and realize that you telling them that things in the opening are literal is what makes it a spoiler. There’s plenty of things in this intro that won’t literally happen. Anime onlies do not have the context to tell the difference.

Odiodin

The intro is fine. At best it spoils one plot point which the girls are too smart to ever believe wasn’t happening anyway. It will make for better reactions for them to watch it.

TeaDrinker3000

I completely underestimated just how many supporters L&M have until Attack On Titan gets mentioned. So different from the tiny Better Call Saul community lmao.

Mati D.
>>75349580

That's actually the best way, after EP 5 or 6 (depending how they portrait the manga) should be fine.

AM Jamey

Watch the ending with subtitle only

NikolasO

Don't watch the opening

Sebastian

wait like 4 or 5 episodes and then its probably safe to watch it, that might be a good compromise

Alejandro Gil

Oh boy good luck to them avoiding spoilers here. The op chorus is like "SPOILERS SPOILERS spoilers coming SPOILERS"

Mati D.
>>75349743

Trueee, and I'm watching the 3 shows right now with Death Note, maybe Arcane after

Sarah

As someone who only watches the anime and just watched the episode with the opening, I don’t think it’s very spoilery. I watched it once and didn’t pause it or skip back, and everything I notcied in it is stuff easily theorized that we have seen coming for a long time.

Isaac
>>75348612

No, they've already assumed it 100% What shock? What spoiler?

Calvin Delaney

No voters saying "Compromise" i think that will set a weird thing for Polls going forward ya know? like whatever wins should win, i am sure if it was the other way around they would not be saying compromise.

YOUNES LOL LOULIZI

Theorizing and confirming is different… but there is just on massive spoiler in a frame scene and well… anyway

Unholy

Obv dont watch

sand_fl
>>75350849

They probably won't because it's a close one and too many people voted no so I guess they won't even if yes wins. I think it's a pity but it is what it is.

Mati D.
>>75350849

Yeah i don't think it's democracy, pretty sure they just wanna know the drill and read different opinions and decide by themself. Maybe the best option is to wait for 5 or 6 ep and then watch it.

Cas_nc12
>>75349580

Yeah and this way no matter which side wins both groups of people should be happy, I mean I love the intro and want them to see it but they should definitely wait a few episodes

Isaac
>>75350849

They usually go by democracy. I think they should watch it

Mati D.
>>75350849

I guess we will see tomorrow, can't wait man, i wanna watch it again but with their reaction!!!

Biko Diinaraas

OFCOURSE YOU HAVE TO WATCH IT! WYM? It's the final LAST opening for AOT ever! THAT'S IT DONE OVER .

RDZrick .

The spoilers they already know its gonna happen, I say watch it, besides if you're not a manga reader its harder to notice

bondbond53

Fuck I actually don't know lol

Guille Lourido

Imo its better to see the opening once u finish the season. So many BIG spoilers

amir.cricket

atleast the op not spoilery as the trailer...

amir.cricket

hope u rested well from final season part 1

Anggelo Consiglieri

It definitely has spoilers but I think it's worth watching. The spoilers are not story-defining

l

imo, dont watch it, but you can, hard decision either way

Rich

i love how close this poll is and how passionate people are in the comments ROFL

Cas_nc12
>>75352611

They would probably on need to wait like 5 episodes depending on how its paced

Dammy Oshikoya

The opening is just amazing, just watch it, you really feel the song and what it's showing. A 10/10 opening

Dustywood
>>75353349

I did not realize how many people follow anime on this page until this poll, I'm here specifically for Better Call Saul - and weoooooooooooooow there's a lot of heat and hype on this post

TomNook

There is some spoilers for sure until like maybe episode 5

hazapaza

the OP is amazing but it's literally the most spoilery shit ever.... could take the magic out of some exciting moments but at the end of the day the reactions won't disappoint

Isaac
>>75353349

I know, right? Such high engagement! LM must be special

Al

Lmao I love how many people are here. Let's goooooo babyyyy

Tevin Hicks

I’d say watch it once, don’t over analyze it. Just one and done.

Yota

Don’t there so spoiler

Isaac

Oh fuck, it's so close now!

Eduardo

I have not watched the yet. But since you are caught up with the anime, i think you have watch the op and take the risk of spoilers the same as the rest of us that haven't read the manga, ast the tradition states for non manga readers XD

Jag_227

A tie means it's your call

A

I'm anime-only & I didn't watch it but I'll reiterate a comment above: "guys i am a non manga reader and i watch the opening fully blind of manga spoilers, and now I regret seeing it, there are a couple of scenes that even a non-manga reader can perfectly recognize as spoilers" - TheBeatcho I also didn't watch the trailers.

Jonathon Elkins

There’s at least 3 major spoilers in the opening and I think all the ‘Yes’ voters are only considering the 1 obvious spoiler at the beginning of the song. The second spoiler is when they’re flashing between all the major characters in the middle of the OP and the third is an Eren scene at the end. I think that’s vague enough..

Isaac

At this point, I'm satisfied with either result. Mostly just happy that so many people had a voice :)

Dendozy

listen to the song but close your eyes when the opening plays lol.

Mahni Alizadeh

Also the ending is fine right? They’ll love it

bondbond53

This feels like the Squid Game voting in episode 2. So who's the old man?

ML9

Wow it's still 50/50 lmao, maybe at this point just don't watch it tbh. I think the people that voted yes wouldn't mind if you didn't, but the people that voted no would be REALLY UPSET if you did The opening is so good though :(

devan1

If the pool is tied they should watch the OP with one eye closed hahaha

MAY

Just voted and my vote made it 390 to 389. This is the closest poll I've ever seen, but they really should skip until a certain episode.

Sergeant Jay

It’s tied one of them should watch it the other one shouldn’t lol

Khayta

Just voted to change from 390=390 to 391 to 389

Sergeant Jay

We should keep it a tie to be honest it looks clean lol

Basti

There are no spoilers at all. Think about the animals running in the opening 2. Is the same here.

Anonymous

Why do so many people want to spoil them?

Robert H.

If I'm guessing the passing correctly after the first episode, from episode 6 on, the opening shouldn't be a problem anymore. But I must also honestly say that I am surprised how slowly Mappa tells the story. For this being an action episode, they only adapted a little more than one chapter (the missing pages from Chapter 115, Chapter 117, missing a few pages here at the end but told in the next episode, and a few pages from Chapter 118).

food. just food

I don't think they would be that surprised by the spoilers in the opening. but srsly though holy shit the opening was so good. It perfectly encaptured season 4 part 2 so well

KS

Watch it just don’t dissect it, or watch it once but you HAVE TO watch

Gabriel Tavares
>>75355606

I would be upset if they dont react because the opening is so good and have just 2 frames that already have been foreshadowing. It would be Nice see them react before seen all The episoces

Robert H.
>>75355774

I also find it very amusing that it's a tie after almost 800 votes. Final Season Part 2 will fortunately not be the problem, but with Final Season Part 3 (or the movie) I fear a renewed flare-up of trench warfare in the Attack on Titan fan community. The last few chapters have been so polarizing, watching it from that side could become popcorn cinema. And ultimately, the conflict that the fan community is fighting is the conflict that Isayama focuses on in his story. 😂

jweher

i'm an anime-only who watched it and i wasn't exactly surprised at the "spoilery" things in the opening? maybe just don't dissect it? i just feel like it'd be a shame to miss out on the opening, the imagery and lyrics hit me hard. all anime-only watchers saw it so i don't see the problem with you guys seeing it too. at this point it should be a personal choice for y'all tbh.

Víctor G.

photo finish anyone?

Castleman

dont be a pussi，watch like everyone elese！

sand_fl
>>75356086

thought so too, at this pace they're going to have to cut many scenes from the manga because there's no way they can animate it all if they keep doing it like this

tom

Honestly I say watch bc I think the visuals are cool even if there's spoilers in it But it's completely up to you, if you don't want to see anything then you shouldn't watch it I'll say I don't think the poll is asking the right question, for example if question was 'does the opening have spoilers?' I think most people would say yes, but because it's 'should we watch it?' it's pretty evenly tied, since a lot of people who want you to watch it probably just want you to see the visuals rather than thinking it has no spoilers (like me) So overall, it's up to you. if the poll says anything it's that people are evenly split on this

NatureWithoutMan

it's a fantastic intro that nails the vibe and i think it puts you in the right mindset for watching what's ahead. in my opinion fandoms go way overboard trying to overcorrect and avoid spoilers when the entire production team and staff making the series are comfortable using these intros for a reason. it does have 'spoilers' but if you dont like go frame by frame or pause and try to figure out what you're seeing i think its fine. you have more to lose from not watching the intro than you do by watching it.

Mati D.
>>75355606

I voted no but I don't really mind, it's just my personal opinion, i prefer FULL BLIND, but if they watch it it's fine by me.

ifnarta

To be honest, it's spoilers because people keeps telling you it's spoilers. If you had watched them without people telling what it is, it would have just left you wondering, no context. A lot of anime openings have this aesthetic, you won't notice any spoilers when watching it the first time, but after finishing the show you rewatched them and think, "Damn, they showed that since the first episode? How could I not realize that?"

tom
>>75358947

That's true but it's the same with Season 3 Part 2's. The best case scenario is not knowing people think it's spoilers and then you watch it, but once you've heard people say there's spoilers it's sort of hard to not see it

ifnarta
>>75358947

Yeah I also don't like that people telling them not to watch S3P2 OP back then because spoilers. I watch them without knowing anything and I'm totally oblivious of any spoilers, until I reached certain episodes then I understand the hidden meaning in the OP. I mean, it's an anime, it's supposed to be enjoyed WITH the opening and ending. It's not a kids' show like One Piece, the people working on the show won't outright throw spoilers on our face.

alpassione

Pls just watched because not only it’s 10/10 but it’s not gonna show a spoiler that you did not expect at all (seeing your discussion in the videos you’ve nailed a lot of things that will happen)

MaxVSTheGames
>>75355896

Have we watch the same intro? That is NOT the same thing at all. There are two pretty obvious spoilers for two major things.

Ben Chelemer

Simple: If you care more about avoiding spoilers than holy*#$%omgholy@%$thatwasso#$@%ingepic, then don't watch it. Otherwise, watch it.

Mahni Alizadeh

Whatever the outcome, this is a pretty entertaining poll

Brandon Williams

It’s a great opening you should at least listen to the song because it sets the tone for the season perfectly. The visuals themselves are spolier heavy with zero context like most anime openings. So watch at your own discretion I suppose

BoredTonberry

Part of me would love to see your reaction but at the same time you two are too smart for your own fucking good so I’m super conflicted. LMAO

A

In the end it can be your decision...to watch or not to watch...you're like a younger Eren in the forest with Levi and his squad and the Female Titan following. Eren conflicted if he should bite and trust himself (you ladies). Or trust his comrades (your patrons). Nah that metaphor doesn't work lol

MaxVSTheGames

I don't get the people that REALLY want them to watch it because it's so cool. They can just watch it after episode 5-6 and it will still be cool, and you will still see their reaction, but at least, they won't have been spoiled!

Sebastian
>>75358947

Lola is smart. She could tell what is happening the instant that scene pops up, if she watches it every week surely she will get spoiled

Beta Tester

Don’t watch the show! It has spoilers! *sarcasm*

Ignacio Acuña

I just saw it, I was a little scared of spoilers, it was worth every second, the "big spoiler" is an obvious plot point in my opinion (which you girls have already figured out) if there are other spoilers, they are not so simple to notice

Beta Tester

Man, all these manga readers ruining the experience for anime onlies. The anime is a different experience than the manga. It’s meant to be watched as is. It’s it’s own type of media. The trailers are meant to be watched. The show is meant to be watched front to end.

immy

You ladies are suuuuuuppppeerrr smart with picking up hints and clues so I highly recommend not watching it :)

Beta Tester

Skipping around is so silly. The opening is beautiful by the way, the song is amazing, the animation is amazing- it’s an insult to the show not to watch it when it was created with such love.

nana

atleast listen to the song!!! the song is amazing

Robert H.

How hyped is everyone for Attack on Titan? Patreons: In 7 hours 1000+ votes and 200+ comments on the poll whether they should see the opening or not. And it's (almost) a tie. 😂

Monchua

NOOOO!!! It literally spoils a lot of stuff

Camelot B
>>75356124

Agree, the op is amazing and the spoilers are things that: can't be understood without context or are obvious that would happen and LM already said they are 100% sure about

Zekrom XI
>>75361866

That makes no sense and you sound ignorant. People skip opening themes all the time, especially since some contain heavy spoilers. That is NOT an “insult” to the show. It just means you wanna watch the show blind without hints and spoilers of future events. The opening theme can be fully watched and enjoyed after completing the show, or at least until the show covers the spoiler parts. Admit it, you’re just biased because you selfishly want them to react to the opening because of how “good and hype” you think it is, while completely neglecting the consequences of them getting spoiled and easily predicting major plot points. I’m subscribed to their Patreon and paying over $10 a month to watch blind reactions. NOT reactions of them knowing what’s gonna happen because of some selfish kid who wanted them to react to spoilers. This is the same sh*t that happened with S3P1 end credit episode that everyone wanted them to watch. All that did was spoil them. It served no purpose whatsoever.

Roy Saw

Look, there's spoilers, but nothing you didn't already hear about in the show or nothing you haven't already seen on YouTube thumbnails. If you're not gonna watch it, at least listen to it. The song goes HARD.

Zekrom XI
>>75361784

Wrong! Some people don’t watch trailers and opening themes to shows, especially shows that are deeply story driven like Attack on Titan. They do this to avoid spoilers. And considering LM Reactions is a damn REACTION channel, they should definitely NOT REACT to spoilers that are included in trailers and opening themes otherwise it defeats the purpose of their REACTIONS to the episodes.

Beta Tester
>>75361866

Zekrom, I’ll reiterate. The anime is a different experience than the manga. It is meant to be watched as is- just as the manga was meant to be read in order as is. In fact, the manga and the anime differ dramatically at many points in the story in terms of timing, pacing, and included/excluded scenes. Isayama has also previously stated he treats the anime as a “director’s cut”, a more “refined” version of the manga. Again, to skip based off of random people’s comments online knowledge of the manga, a different medium, is silly. The anime is meant to be watched as is. To not is to dilute the experience. If you want the manga experience, read the manga. If you want the anime experience, watch the anime.

Zekrom XI
>>75361707

Yeah, let me go to a reaction channel and tell the reactors to watch spoilers from the opening theme so I don’t get a good reaction when those parts take place in the episodes. Good idea! *sarcasm*

NatureWithoutMan
>>75361866

they aren't spoilers... the entire production staff and likely isayama himself would have approved these visuals. the people actually involved in curating and delivering this story to the world chose this opening to air at the beginning of every episode. the fact that there is a culture around skipping anime intros is more of a condemnation of spoiler culture gone awry than an example of behavior that should be followed,

Quo

Listen to both the opening and the ending. The opening is just setting up what we know is bound to happen. The ending is, well just a beautiful piece of art.

Beta Tester
>>75361784

Again, Zekrom- I’ll reiterate. The anime is its own experience and meant to be consumed as is. To your other point, the solution is as simple as reacting to the trailer. It’s not rocket science. Reacting to the intro. Reacting to the outro, make sense? If you want to watch manga reactors, go watch manga reacters. We’re here to watch anime reactions, and a big part of anime are the intros and outros.

Buzzed Aldrin

I recommend watching both the op and ed. As a manga reader I will say the op has spoilers, but they don't mean much out of context. The biggest and most obvious spoiler is one that has already been foreshadowed much earlier in the season.

Buzzed Aldrin
>>75365328

Not to mention they are both absolutely amazing and I would hate for yall to miss them.

Zoe Senpaiuwu

It doesn’t spoil anything we already don’t know is gonna happen, plus I feel like the opening is part of the experience. It’s not going to be the same just watching it after the series is ended

RDZrick .

If you decide not to watch the op at least listen to the song with lyrics, I think that it's more important than watching and you won't be spoiled by the song, I think...

Zekrom XI
>>75361784

Beta Tester, nobody is here to watch reactions to spoilers in the opening and trailer, you insufferable child. We are all here to watch reactions to the episodes themselves. And we cannot do that if they get spoiled about future events from trailers and opening themes. There are ways to make good opening themes without it being full of spoilers. Just because production decided to put heavy spoilers in the opening and trailers, does NOT mean we all “need” to watch it just because it’s “the anime adaptation.” Your point makes no sense at all, so stop reiterating that BS.

Beta Tester
>>75361784

I think it’s pretty clear to see who has the more sensible argument here Zekrom. I believe it’s the side who doesn’t feel the need to use insults like “idiots”, “insufferable child” etc. I’ve made my point, and you’re still lashing out. We’ll just have to see how it pans out. Also, based off the poll, it seems you’re proven incorrect. Most people do want to see reactions to the intro.

tom

Is there a way to email you?

Zekrom XI
>>75361784

Yeah, people selfishly wanna see reactions to spoilerly intros right now, but that is by far NOT the main reason why we all are paying $10 a month for reaction videos, kid.

Anonymous

YOU CAN WATCH IT AFTER EPISODE 5 OR 6. FOR NOW DON'T CUZ IT CONTAINS HEAVY SPOILERS. YOU GIRLS ARE SMART ENOUGH TO CATCH THOSE. JUST SKIP IT FOR THE FIRST FEW EPISODES YOU WILL EVENTUALLY GET TO WATCH IT ANYWAY.

Beta Tester
>>75361784

It’s definitely a part of it. If they reacted to trailers and all the intros/outros, etc. I’d feel my $10 was even more well spent and went a long way. To each their own. Again, the numbers don’t lie.

Zekrom XI
>>75365648

Agreed. But unfortunately there’s this one moron lurking around this comment section (calling himself Beta Tester), and saying we should all get spoiled by the anime simply because it’s the anime and not the manga. Please ignore that guy.

alpassione

It's made for the intention of anime only to watch aswell not skip. Plus seeing your discussions you've pretty much figured out everything that they showed in the opening, that for you it's only a matter of time and how it's gonna happen.

Zekrom XI
>>75367168

Does not matter what the OPs intentions are. What matters is the individual themselves and their views. If someone does not wanna watch an opening theme due to potential spoilers, they can freely choose not to. We aren’t here to shame them for that! And since I’m paying $10 a month to watch blind reactions from LM, I should be able to watch BLIND reactions from LM—not to volunteer them to get spoiled by a pretty heavy spoilerly-opening theme. That defeats the whole purpose of a blind reaction because now they know exactly what’s going to happen. Y’all pulled the same stunt with the S3P1 mid-credit scene—forced LM to watch it and get spoiled for no better reason at all. As a result, it ruined their reactions to *that* scenes because they already saw it coming. You AoT manga readers are annoying as hell.

Dan Mena

It’s like opening S2 is something that you already saw it coming, but you dont kow when and how, it's just a little taste of it.

kneedisc
>>75367168

It 100% matters what the creators of the show's intentions are. I'm not sure why you're calling manga readers annoying as hell- they're the only ones who call things "spoilers"- therefore you're a manga reader. The anime is NOT the manga, though it is based off of it- this has been true since the beginning of the show. Different events are shown at different times for improved pacing, and some events from the manga were entirely removed or made short and sweet. I'd argue their reactions as far as S3P1 were not ruined whatsoever. It added an awesome excitement all anime-onlies enjoyed, looking forward to figuring what transpires to get to that point- exactly as the producers intended. Telling them not to watch certain parts of the show for your reasons is like telling them to watch certain episodes in different orders because "in the manga" that's how they were ordered. It doesn't matter what's in the manga. This is the anime. Isayama and MAPPA have created an experience specifically for anime-onlies, meant to be watched front to back.

kneedisc
>>75360901

Your metaphor doesn't work because most of the patrons are also voting they watch the show normally, instead of skipping parts, as it should be.

Zekrom XI
>>75367168

Wrong. That S3P1 scene was only meant to keep the hype going. If they aired S3P1 and S3P2 conservatively without breaks, then that “scene” wouldn’t even exist. Furthermore, Isayama has no say in the anime adaptation. He doesn’t have the power to make decisions. He can only give his opinions and inputs. The ultimate decision is still the studio who’s adapting the project. Get your facts right. Also, it 120% does NOT matter what the creators of the show’s intentions are. What only matters is how each individual wants to watch. If I dare choose not to watch openings and trailers due to potential spoilers, then I will NOT do so. An opening theme or trailer does not tell the story, the story tells the story! Therefore I will skip the nonsense and unnecessary spoilers and let the story tell the story. Also, this has nothing to do with “rearranging scenes in episodes.” That’s an entirely different topic. I’m talking about OPENING THEMES AND TRAILERS. Don’t stretch my words to fit your flawed argument.

Mohammed Al Jamal

Ok listen, the minute I saw the opening I said I gotta inform LM not to watch it, but on a second thought, I realized that it would be nearly impossible for you to avoid it. The spoilers are so big that even the music lyrics “which is in english” are spoilers. Even if you just watched the first 2 seconds from the opening, you will get spoiled immediately. Remember how you figured out that they will get to the basement just from seeing the basement at the end of S3P2 opening? This is much worse than that. So I suggest to watch it and put that heavy burden away 😅.

Zekrom XI
>>75367168

Another thing, trailers aren’t meant to spoiler their audiences like most Attack on Titan trailers do, especially S4P1 PV. That’s just the fault of poor production decisions. Trailers are meant to hype you up and to attract an audience to the film or series, these excerpts are usually drawn from the most exciting, funny, or otherwise noteworthy parts of the show but in abbreviated form and usually WITHOUT producing spoilers. However, the Attack on Titan production team fails at that. Same goes for Opening themes. Opening themes are not meant to spoil their audiences like most Attack on Titan openings do. They’re meant to set the tone and introduce the viewers to the shows feel—let’s the audience know what they’re getting into all WITHOUT spoilers. But hey again, the production team over at Mappa fail miserably at doing just that.

pechaos

I don't watch this show but I voted watch just to piss off the anime fanatics who are spamming other posts with this nonsense.

Zekrom XI
>>75367168

Connor, Isayama didn’t choose the director and team lmao. That’s the most ignorant thing I’ve heard in awhile. Also, that “source” you put at the end your comment is not a source for what you just wrote. That doesn’t say anything about Isayama “choosing the director.”

Zekrom XI
>>75370096

Ah, so you’re the reason why these spoiler loving lunatics won’t hop off their cocky high horses with the “democracy” bs.

Othman
>>75370096

Lol it’s really not that spoily I mean everything in the opening was expected to happen and have been foreshadowed for a long time

robingardner

god stop crying and just move on Isayama absolutely has a say and get yer binky ready for when "watch" wins the poll dimwit

alpassione
>>75367168

Have you seen their discussion at the end of season 4 episodes? There is nothing in the opening that they did not already predict during their discussions. Like during one of their discussions they were certain that the scene in 0:07 - 0:012 in the opening will happen. I really don't understand why are you so against the idea of them watching an anime opening that is meant to be watched not skipped over, when literally the only difference is that they will have an idea what's coming two/three weeks earlier than it happening during the episode. Aside from 0:07 - 0:12, the opening is mostly cool visual with two scenes that are spoilers, but they still can be easily overlooked/not understood without knowing the full context. Quite oppositely the opening will just get them hyped for what's to come rather than spoil the entire season like s3 part 2 opening did

Sam
>>75347607

that spoiler itself is also given in the lyrics though?

Connor Tenner
>>75370096

If it's what the fans want Zekrom, it's what the fans want. You have been nothing but nasty and toxic to everyone in these comment threads because they don't agree with you who give you valid reasons and logical arguments. Meanwhile, you can only insult and demean because more people want LM to watch the show normally.

Oppai Master

There are spoilers but nothing that isn't already obvious will happen

Beta Tester
>>75346638

I understand where you’re coming from. However, I have to disagree that it spoils the “whole” season. More so, I agree with Isaac in that everything in the intro is broad and was foreshadowed the entire show. It really only “spoils” one thing that was insanely obvious even to the most oblivious watcher, and it doesn’t even feel like a spoiler with how beautiful the intro is with the music as well. Powerful lyrics that set the tone for the series as a whole. It’s a must watch.

Beta Tester
>>75346645

Did you enjoy watching it? Overall, did you like the intro for intro’s sake?

Beta Tester
>>75346752

Them not watching the intro for S3 part 2 was pretty buzzkill ngl. I’m glad the tides are turning this time around.

Beta Tester
>>75347165

I’d argue that’s not true Noctys. Season 4 manga was already out when Season 2 was barely being released. The only thing they did was improve the anime based off of knowing what happens later in the source material, adding better foreshadowing, and improving the storytelling/pacing. They didn’t suddenly spoil what would be Season 4 because the manga was already there.

Beta Tester
>>75348332

Noctys you keep repeating this without proof. It’s been shown in practice this is not the case, as the source material for what would be Season 4 was already released when Season 2 was barely airing. This allowed the producers to do better foreshadowing, improve the pacing, have better story telling etc. It resulted in a better more interesting “anime-only” experience, and there were people ALL the way back in Season 2 calling the intro and outro “huge” spoilers. They were misguided then, and still are now.

Beta Tester
>>75356061

It’s not a spoiler. It’s part of the anime. It’s a part of what they’re reacting to, what we want to see! The vast majority of people crying spoiler are manga readers, but they have 1,000,000x more context and can connect every last dot. That’s impossible for an anime only, regardless of how cunning they are. Worth the watch. Not only that, but by this point most of the plot has already been revealed. There aren’t many secrets left to figure out, and honestly anything in the intro will be of 0% surprise to them, but will be an awesome reaction. It’s time to just sit back and enjoy and react to the anime as intended.

Beta Tester
>>75356086

The pacing has always been different in the anime. Still comes out great.

Ethan Milligan

I honestly think that there are spoilers in the opening, but nothing that LM havent already theorized, or would have absolutely no clue what it means. So that doesnt really bother me, and I just want them to listen to the song cuz I like the vibe it has for the last season, cuz they definitely wont like the vibe lol (not in a bad way, but in a "oh shit i dont want this to happen" way)

Epsilox

Any of the spoilers seem pretty obvious, I would just watch it

PKS

Enjoy the show, watch the opening. That is how creater intended it.

tom
>>75374257

It's not one creator, but also even as someone who thinks they can watch it I don't think this is a good argument. It's an adaptation of a manga, and sometimes they take it too far. So technically no it's not what the original creator intended, it's what people who are adapting it in a more mainstream medium intended

Ethan R

Watch the op for sure, it’s too good not to. I feel like you won’t be spoiled on anything you wouldn’t have already expected to happen

TONKEU LECNO Kevin
>>75368364

Do not lie ! Even the Studio Mappa said that it will contain additional spoilers compared to Part 1 opening My War.

TONKEU LECNO Kevin
>>75374228

No. There are so many spoilers and additional info from the manga. It is not right for them to watch it.

TONKEU LECNO Kevin
>>75374257

The Mappa studio said that the new opening will contain spoilers cuz some many fans were complaining about the My War opening !

bri

Its your choice. If you dont want to get spoiled for nothing, dont watch it. But the most important question.. When is it coming out :) ?

TONKEU LECNO Kevin
>>75365328

Do not lie ! There are more heavy spoilers. You guys are not being honest here. Even the Mappa Studio confirmed it.

Summer

Hi ~ Can i ask you..? when will the reaction come out :) ?

Ethan R
>>75374893

No one is lying, there are spoilers but like many have said they are pretty obvious “spoilers.” You don’t need to call everyone that’s saying LM should watch it a liar just because you may not get your way

Ethan R

I will also mention that a lot of the “spoilers” in the op won’t mean much to someone who hasn’t read the manga, or were just obvious plot points anyways. Many people are overreacting in this thread, acting like if you watch the op the entire show will be spoiled but that’s just not true. Either way I’m glad you’re leaving it up to us to decide :)

TONKEU LECNO Kevin
>>75367168

A Passione you are wrong. This opening spoils more things than the s3 part2 one. And skipping an opening is another way to watch a series, specially if you do not want your theories and hypothesis, being worked for 2 years and both being destroyed by a 1 min opening. And LM does blind reactions and makes theories. The flavour of rewatching aot will not be the same.

Jay Craig

Watch it, it's fucking cool

Jay Craig

Micromanaging motherfuckers on God.....

Kim555

I'm the type of person who always skipped the intro and op because of spoilers but these new two barely have any spoilers it's just surface level events and it's fast

Shangeli

It's spoiler if you already know whats happening If you didnt read scan..then you just cant understant the "spoiler" AoT openings are really smart for this

Jaqcues

democracy was a mistake

Jose Salgado

They both noticed Armin waking up in the intro of season 3 part 2, Imagine what can happen with this intro, they show us the status of various characters, PLS LM Do Not WATCH THE INTRO!, but the outro is pure gold, enjoy it!

Danny
>>75381608

theres a diff between democracy and majority vote lol

JoloPolo
>>75379188

Smart? look the title of the op, the lyrics and the visual, I assure you that the word "subtle" is not there

tom
>>75382486

Don't be specific about what it shows. Also I disagree that it spoils that. If we're doing a basic calculation of enjoyment with watching the OP versus without (Assuming that the goal is to have maximum enjoyment, and being spoiled removes enjoyment) I think watching it will increase enjoyment. It might confirm some of their thoughts/theories but once you get past that it will be really fun for them to look forward to

tom

I've commented on this post a lot, but just have fun with it. If that means watching the OP I say do it. Even if there's spoilers there's also a lot of symbolic stuff and it's presented in a really artistic way.

Dan Mena
>>75368364

I never mention that opening and as only anime watcher I just saw very few scenes that were obviously to happen because is the last season. Not big deal.

Daniel Lerma

I think it’s time to close the poll and react! 🙃

Muck

The Japanese culture has no problem with spoilers. They even like them. A lot of anime will straight up reveal what happens in an episode before the episode airs. The fact that everyone has already said the opening contains spoilers means you will know you're being spoiled if you watch it. It comes down with are you OK being spoiled now or would you rather see it happen in the episodes.

Nikodem

Now that you made the poll and read the comments, you should not watch the opening, as they basically confirm what is a genuine spoiler in the intro and not a false one (like Zeke running next to a giant whale). I think you should decide yourself, as you WILL get spoiled if you watch it and have to be on board with that.

Delmoi (忍者神)

Yeah I've read the Manga and while the opening is totally lit it absolutely gives some major plot details away. There's stuff you probably wouldn't understand until you actually see it, but there's also stuff that's extremely obvious - That said it probably won't lessen your enjoyment of the show.

JTII

have you two watched the new episode yet?

Delmoi (忍者神)
>>75382486

Watch it more carefully, there's a MAJOR spoiler about something viewers already know about, not just stuff that only makes sense if you've already read the manga.

Jose Salgado
>>75382486

I agree, but I think they will lose more than they will gain watching the intro, anyway it's their choice

Emori
>>75388021

Most likely no because it's not up. I expect the raw to drop first as soon as they finish reacting then the edited once it's rendered a few hours after that

ron

It's not like they'll never watch the intro. If it contains spoilers why can't they just watch it after the show. Most people just watch it once and skip it for the rest of the episodes anyways. We can wait.

Simon

Omg literally every AoT intro has spoilers in it!!! This one isn't any different, but it means nothing if you haven't read the manga, just like every other intro...

Zekrom XI
>>75389214

Every opening does not contain major spoilers. Last opening “My War” was a perfect example of that. The lyrics and name of the song literally spoil major plot points. How does that “mean nothing”? It’s not like the opening was hinting and foreshadowing, no. It’s literally telling you what’s gonna happen with the lyrics.

Erik Janjughazian
>>75389214

There is one spoiler, but not one that we didn't expect to happen. Also this is how creators intended it to be.

Rich
>>75388937

that's my plan, i'll definitely watch the intro a couple of episodes in. it seems very hype

Jacob

I watched the intro twice to be sure, so I hope I didn't miss something important (I'll admit I don't watch/analyze this show as closely as LM). Are there spoilers? Technically, yes. So if they don't want anything confirmed, definitely don't watch, because the intro does indeed confirm some of their suspicions. But realistically, there's nothing shown that would come as a surprise in the slightest for them at this point. So either way is probably fine.

狐火の夜

Im fine with either tbh, they definitely show a nice bit of action in the opening but i just want you to hear the new songs more than anything XD

Cas_nc12

No matter what wins this has been a really fun poll it's been so close the entire time

Melkor

I love democracy

Iacopo

If you girls will watch the opening you spoiled yourself all the manga

Emori

ngl i just watched the opening and saw only 1 thing that spoiled me, but it was soemthing i knew would happen from prior season knowledge and more got me hype for it so i think it's fine after my personal watching of it (non manga reader)

PKS
>>75395006

True, the opening is so fast paced, you basically watch it and get hyped. Those who have prior knowledge by reading Manga only think it has spoilers. They don't get to see the opening scenes when reading manga, so brushing off their wisdom here.

David Caine

Pretty much you might be able to watch it like maybe second to last episode of this cour. Too early to tell when exactly. Listening to it, however, is totally fine, just imagine the chaos and mayhem of war.

Yic17

So I watched the episode and the OP ... I think it's OK to watch the OP (and the ED as well). It doesn't seem very spoilery. Maybe there's one or two shots that's spoilery but this is the final season so I really don't think it matters anymore as you'll reach the end very soon anyway.

George Abaidoo

Sigh, why is it behind the 10$ paywall? I was hoping at least the one week tier will have it
