I'm not sure about a fan, but I certainly am more on his side than James with the whole thing. James is acting like there's a fully functioning police force Murtry can file a complaint with on planet. They are months away from the rings with no other backup. Acting as if self-defense is a crime is doing James no favors. Murtry has literal fucking audio proof they were planning on going after his people, and HE'S the one in the wrong. Yeah, sure.
