it's your favorite intro "so far"

Robert H.

I love how the information network has developed: Al ➡️ Butcher ➡️ Izumi ➡️ Briggs Soldiers ➡️ Falmann ➡️ Grumman ➡️ Rebecca ➡️ Riza Hawkeye ➡️ Jean ➡️ Roy. Grumman was particularly sneaky, putting the note in Rebecca's back pocket. Oh yes, Olivier and Alex Armstrong's little sister was the girl who threw a piano at Yoki in his narration.

Also, the town where the people tried to help May is the mine town that Yoki used to command until the Elric Brothers exposed his corruption schemes. Some of the characters were in those chapters about the mine

Right! I remember Yoki hitting the child who was talking to May. Somehow Yoki's abbreviated narration in Broterhood makes him a more sympathetic character, simply because you didn't see over several minutes what he was like when he had power over others.

oh, by the way you two sing the intro song it's safe to say it's your favourite so far, and i can't blame you, it's just an amazing intro yeah, i always found that scene with grumman really gross, even if he was putting the note on her pocket... i suppose you're watching the ova next. are you going to watch two or just one? both are like 10 minutes, so you could just watch both and put them in one video i guess

Not only that, but May's original introduction in the manga was actually at that same town! She saved the lives of some of the miners when a mine started to collapse, and the townspeople helped her out and told her about 'The Fullmetal Alchemist", and described him as having a red coat, and gold hair and eyes. Which led to her initial crush! It was only after she left that the people who'd told her the story remembered that they forgot to mention how short Ed is lol. So, in the manga, when May passes through the town again like she does in this episode, she meets up with people who remember her from the first time. Then it more or less plays out the same.

I hope you guys rate/rank the intros/outros at the end of the series. Same with Attack on Titan. We were promised!

The way they talk about Winry and Ed and Riza and Roy, I'm really curious to see their reaction to the fifth opening.
