show gave us a 180 and went from wholesome to... whatever this was. No clue if you guys have watched the next episodes but yeah... tone shift for sure. Foreshadowing though, when you get more of the parents in this episode than we really ever have before :(

Just want to point out that Mob's crush has known he has powers since they were little kids. She didn't learn about it in episode 1 of this season. They grew up together in the same school.

This was explained in episode 3 of the first season. Mob's 100% isn't a measurement of his power, it's an indicator of how much he is feeling any emotion at a given time, so I can say this without it being a spoiler; no other espers have a "100%" like Mob. Mob's power level is... unfathomable to put it bluntly, but because he doesn't go out of his way to test his powers, Mob himself doesn't really know everything he can do. I have always seen the ???% as Mob losing his sense of self, and becoming a being driven purely by impulse. I guess think of Aang when he goes into the Avatar state due to anger, but with Mob, it's more primal.
