Nice This entire episode is about recognition and realization. Mustang coming to the realization that he couldn't carry on like that. The emotion of Envy finally giving Ed some recognition by calling him by name for the first time (every time before that had been pipsqueak) The one that really gets me though, is that this is one of the few times in the entire series that Olivier acknowledges Alex as her brother, and I think the first time she did out in the open. Before this, she almost exclusively referred to him as a coward and deserter. To hear her say "that's my brother! He's better than that!" Is so powerful.

Very nice and poetic send off to a character like Envy. That being said fuck Envy for everything they've ever done.

This episode was lit. Looking forward to the discussions.

Full cyrcle moment with envy...such a great and complex character...truly sad he took his own life after he realised that ed was true😔💔🫂

It might be weird but I got a little tear for Envy this episode. Idk why but he looks so pathetic and full of jealously before dying. He is an homonculus so it was his nature to be and act like that. He was envious of humans so part of me felt a bit of pity for him. The VA was good too

Why do you think Envy is a complex character? I am really curious, because I always thought that they were one of the more straightforward characters, but I'm really eager to hear different opinions. Also, to me their death wasn't sad, it was pathetic. Good riddance.

CANT WAIT to hear the discussion tomorrow!

Kyra Sun

I've always loved this episode can't wait to see what you two discussed!

Craig

I can point now that a few episodes back, you mentioned there was someone with red eyes with the Brigg's soldiers when they emerged from the Armstrong estate. It was Izumi :)

Antiquity

I forget how good this episode is

Nathan Elkin

Ngl, always found the end of Envy to be extremely tedious.

Orr Malus

The most important revelation of this episode is that "Lieutenant" is Mustang's pet name for Hawkeye.

Winston Chau

Good for you, Evnry. I feel Evnry so glad for finally got someone to understand why Envy did the all thing in the show.

Winston Chau

By the way, the BGM name of Mustang think about Hughes is A solider honor, the BGM of Evnry death is Consonance.

Alex cleveland

Envy went out sad mannnnn, literately.
