we're so close to finishing fmab 😭 i actually haven't watched the ova so i'll have to watch before watching the reaction. hope you're having a good time on your trip.

Lychee

Schedule doesn't mention HotD. Are you planning to upload 1x09 today or wasn't there enough time to record before your trip?

They said in the 1x08 reaction that they won't be able to film it until they get back.

Y’all should check out Chainsaw Man, it has more hype than anything else out it just released the first episode last week so it’ll bring in a lot of new Patreon members

I've been enjoying Chainsaw Man so far, but I can't picture them reacting to it anytime soon. They don't usually start a series just because it's popular in the moment. Of course, if there's high enough demand, perhaps it'll win a poll. I think they've already decided on their next show though.

I second this as well. However, I agree with both of yall. Only 2 eps out, but they are reacting to mob once a week, so who knows when. Hopefully asap!!! Chainsaw Man is worthy of its hype so far!

Amazing OVA though. I completely forgot how good this OVA was with the squad!

Chainsaw Man is great so far but tbh I think I'd prefer having them react to Cyberpunk Edgerunners

cjman2112

You two should do jujutsu kaisen

Chainsaw man has been just edgy teenage angst so far. I don't see them enjoying that bs at all. Boobs.

True chainsaw man isn’t a show these girls would enjoy to be honest. “Your lie in April” is better for them I’ve been saying it for weeks.

Jay

“Your lie in April” is the show to watch for these girls, btw I loved this episode.

Season 3 is next. I'm looking forward to it

A good reason for me to finally watch this OVA. Didn't think it'd be this good and wholesome (as you both took it to be too).

as someone with curly hair, i think serizawa's hair was more messy than curly, like he hadn't taken care of it in a while. i could be wrong though.

also, if your curious about more soft and healing type shows, there is literally a genre of anime called Iyashikei that translates as "healing", and is just shows about characters living out peaceful lives in calming enviroments. a lot of them can have some supernatural twists, but one ive enjoyed quite a bit is called Laid Back Camp which is just a bunch of high school girls going out and camping together and it has the prettiest soundtrack.

Natsume's Book of Friends is another great one. It's such a heartwarming show. Sadly, not many reaction channels watch Iyashikei shows.

would A Place Further Than The Universe fall under that category? EDIT: probably not lol

I love this OVA so much!!! It was great to see the gang all interact together. An interesting mix of funny/cute/light-hearted scenes and super depressing Reigen content. The piece of paper that Reigen hid when the kids showed up is actually his will. He was convinced he was going to die in that train... There's a voiced drama CD + translation of it if you want to see what exactly he wrote. :( If you're okay with people posting links, a translation can be found here: https://katyatalks.tumblr.com/post/188150733414/mp100-ova-drama-cd-track-6-episode-5-reigens

The Legend of Xiaohei is the best wholesome show/movie I have seen in a VERY long time, but it's hard to find because it chinese animation. Speaking of animation though, it has some of the fastest, smoothest action scenes I have ever seen, far better than Jujutsu Kaisen

They enjoyed Breaking Bad which was about meth heads and senseless murder, idk why you act like they only like certain things they have a diverse taste in shows like most people
