The begging of the end…here we go!

Mingo

The start of this unreal stretch

wrnrbro

OH MY GOD ITS HAPPENING!!!!

JATLA

White rose is amazing in this episode with Elliot

Myeh

the vibes of this episode are honestly unmatched by the rest of the show. the sheer body count showing how far whiterose and the dark army have been driven. the unorthodox music choices. the buildup and culmination in Elliot and white roses' scene. I'll comment more but I genuinely think it's wholly unique

Agitprop

One thing there is a name for the happy Elliot that came from the fans of the series …e corp is f corp…Elliot is Felliot

Rynsen

I expect to see you both in your black hoodies for the finale! Do it for Elliot

Myeh

I really love how this version of Tyrell doesn't care about his appearance and dresses casually bc it's both a very good look for him and ties into one of his last conversations with Elliot Getting into the discussion now but I'll just say: in classic Mr Robot fashion, nothing makes sense until it does.

Agitprop

Elliot tells mr robot at the end “it’s an exciting time in the world” mirrors the first thing mr robot told him…something like is a great time to be alive…

Agitprop

From the Mixed-Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler is the novel that he gets to Angela. It is mention in the first season, it was Angela’s favorite book and even loved the name of the main character in the book, Claudia Kincaid. It’s a real book about a 12 year old girl that runs away from home…is a story about growing up and finding oneselfzz

Max__

Sorry for the off topic but where I can find Death Note full reactions?

Agitprop

5/9 is the date of the hacks

Brad Johnson

That scene of Elliot and White Rose! WoW! What a scene. What amazing acting!

Antonio

Unrelated to the reaction, Elongated Muskrat has legally changed the name of Twitter Inc to X Corp in a attempt move forward to his dream of a 'do-everything app' including finances, shopping, and social media... And I thought the name E Corp was a little too on the nose.

Myeh

I also like to think that when Elliot is talking about the people who love him, he includes Shayla, Krista, and even Tyrell, they do kinda fit the description lol

'May you live in interesting times' is an old English phrase that is sort of seen as a joke / curse, because 'interesting' doesn't necessarily mean 'good' - wars, famine, pandemics can all be 'interesting' / 'not boring'. In the same way, "it's an exciting time in the world" has a double meaning, because many terrible things can be 'exciting' - like the global socio-economic collapse depicted in the show. The desire to live in an 'exciting world' can backfire spectacularly.

Kara

Great reaction. The Whiterose / Elliot conversation is so good, and represent two ways you can deal with and process trauma. The scene after with Elliot and Mr Robot is so good too, you can see how devastated Mr Robot is and them both coming to terms with it, with Elliot repeating back that classic episode 1 line. Lots of great music cues this episode too, really feels like the beginning of the end. I appreciate the desire to want to sit through 11, 12 and 13 in one sitting but it would have been soooo much lmao, it may have legitimately broken your brains Excited for what comes next. And a new show poll!

tom

Since this series is ending soon... Was just gonna try and shill Mad Men for y'all. You have both Mr Robot ending soon and TLOU already ended. So that's two possible slots for a live action. Leaving options open? Or maybe you could add it to the poll with Black Sails etc that Mr Robot won on, and have the top two winners go into a slot (in which case I don't think Mad Men will even win as I've only seen a couple other people mention it, as opposed to Mr Robot having a lot more people when I initially mentioned it on a comment ages ago) Either way, I think it's right up your guys' ally in terms of storytelling and characters. Very different plot-wise and somewhat unique for the channel, but if enough people suggest it maybe we can put it on a poll, and then eventually it might make it to a reaction :)

SeniorChief214

The balls of Sam Esmail to drop these shenanigans 2 episodes away from the end.

tom

Great episode and reaction! I love how confused you guys are, and Lola's reaction to Angela didn't disappoint. I've been leaving lengthy comments on Angela's characterization under these reactions since S1 (granted, many of them were ROT-13 because they were spoilery so you probably couldn't read them) so I'm probably a contender for being leader of the Angela fanclub too. Though in total she probably is only my third favorite. Because of how complex and layered Elliot is, I can't put her above him, and well I always loved Darlene but after the final episode she became my favorite which I didn't see coming.

tom

To somewhat answer your question, there were people believing in parallel universes before S2 was even over. Cyborgs, too. Hypnosis, mind control and astral projecting. Flesh robots. Artificial intelligence. MK-Ultra shit. Time loops. Simulations. Are any of those theories true? Well, watch to find out... Also someone let me know if I left out any theories.

Much like Whiterose, I too believe we can create a better world (the channel covering Mad Men)

Martin Nicholls

OMG that sweater/hoodie. The reaction the world needs but will never get. Edit: NEVER MIND apparently somebody is. Okay Bosch is the reaction the world needs but we'll never get.

It looks like Death Note has been taken down from Copy Right. They almost had the same problem with Hunter x Hunter, which is why it's now only called HH on Patreon.

Myeh

It's been a trip seeing how the ROT13 spoilers have gotten less and less frequent here as they've progressed, so I just have one more thing to code before the end ROT13: Ybyn cvpxrq hc ba Natryn naq Ryyvbg'f jrqqvat orvat pbaarpgrq gb gur Frnfba 1 ivfvba yznb juvyr whfg fcvgonyyvat, nofbyhgryl vaperqvoyr

@Preston, Yeah I was so annoyed about that. There was even a comment saying "You'll see Angela again"

Myeh
>>106191953

there absolutely is a problem with people trying to lead them right to the answer, or trying to be clever and misdirect...it's really quite simple, I get the urge to reassure but it's pretty dang easy not to comment on those types of things. just comment on what's in the review, if something might ACTUALLY be important for them to know, share, but otherwise just don't fuckin say anything that would lead them to think a certain way if possible

tom
>>106191953

@Crab Maybe we'll be able to continue it in another world (reaction series) *COPIUM*

Dustywood
>>106191953

@Myeh - Ah get over it, that's part of the parcel of having open discussions / open forums. You can't expect everyone to watch the show how you desire them to, besides, it's not as if their viewing experience has been ruined either - I think Lola has cried for example at least once in every episode of Season 4 almost so obviously their viewing experience hasn't been altered in anyway. They also picked up on the sexual abuse storyline way back in Season 1 or Season 2, before it was even mentioned in the comments - so you can keep trying to assume that the public comments lead them into discussions of one way or another but all you're doing is taking away the credibility that these two ladies have made some very good analysis / predictions throughout the show. I think you're doing them more a disservice by trying to imply their experiences are shaped on commentary. Also, keep in mind this is just a business - we're the ones here to relive our show experiences / this is part of the trade. They provide the goods, we get our rewatch content in - they make a decent chunk of change - everyone's happy.

>>106168693

@Antonio, Yikes, someone's bitter about Elon acquiring Twitter - keep in mind that purchase was forced by Twitter executives in the courts so keep on crying about it. You could have simply made your observation without the "Elongated Muskrat" - because now you just look like an obsessive loser. I almost would have agreed with you too, but unfortunately you're just spewing shit.

Myeh
>>106191953

Dusty bro, the first time you interacted with me you accused me of spoiling and then proceeded to respond to my ROT13ed comments without ROT13. I'm not implying that their experiences are wholly shaped by people trying to lead them to certain conclusions– you've even done that yourself by trying to explicitly draw them away from that by trying to get them to focus on the mother plot line instead of the father. It didn't work because as you say, they're quite smart and intuitive on their own, so idk what you're getting at
