Star Lord for G8M (Patreon)

This character and Outfit was a commission. I used Blender to convert the outfit and hair for G8M and I used Wrap3 to create the character morph and body textures. I edited the textures in GIMP to better match the colors across all body parts. There is a morph and a Character Preset in this download. When first released to the commissioner there was an issue with the morph that was causing an error, I think I solved the issue, but I can't be sure until someone lets me know if it is there or not. the Error started after installing this file and then trying to load G8M. Daz couldn't locate the Genesis8Male.dsf. The file has been located and added to the rar file. please let me know if the error still occurs. Also Note the helmets and guns all had broken UVs so I never could get them to texture right so I did not include them.

Beyond Hope

Looks like the error is still happening. Trying to load the Star Lord character and it can't find the head morph. It hasn't had any knock-on effects as I can load G8M fine afterwards with no errors.

What is the error message that you keep getting?

Files listed below cannot be located /data/DAZ 3D/Genesis 8/Male/Morphs/TractorTech/Character Morphs/Star Lord Head Morph.dsf Loads the standard G8M figure and applies the texture but no morphs are visible on the character or in the Parameters list.

I get the same errors. I am compiling a new zip for you, because I am getting other issues, as well. My access to additional morphs and such is impaired. Likely due to the additional Genesis8male.dsf. I'll reach out when finished...zip sent

I copied it into the correct directory. It loaded fine. There's an error in the script pointing to a different directory. Star Lord for G8M (UPDATE)\My DAZ 3D Library\data\TractorTech\Character\Star Lord\Morphs\TractorTech

ok, I added the files you sent in place of the ones I had in the folder. lets try and see if that fixed anything for others.

He looks great! just like the game. I dragged and dropped his face morph and skin from the content folder inside of daz3d directly onto a genesis 8 Figure (his head morph does come up in morph loader in parameters tab) his For his body I just used a premade character morph to make him more athletic.

I wonder if the reason why the Helmet and guns had broken UV is becuase theyve been made differently. I noticed in the game they where animated to morph and change into different forms - so maybe they're more like a gemetry node than a traditional 3d model - IDK im just guessing

yeah, the character didn't have a good full body to get a morph from so i opted to just do a head morph

There is a good FBX figure on dA of Starlord with weapons and helmet by Sidgara. Textures are single JPGs for each part. Easy enough to export to OBJ to use in Daz. TT, I've uploaded a promo using Starlord (and your mature Groot) with these parts on dA. Hope you like.
