I've decided to challenge myself by creating a longer animation. While I'm satisfied with the static poses and orbit camera setups that showcase snapshots of a wrestling match, I feel I can elevate the overall quality by incorporating fully-animated scenarios. To start, I revisited the male wrestler POV scene I created some time ago and developed it into an extended animated sequence.

I chose the POV perspective to streamline the process, as it only required me to focus on animating for a single viewpoint rather than multiple angles like with an orbit camera. Additionally, this approach allowed me to emphasize the exaggerated movements of the female wrestlers, which are key to portraying their efforts to overcome their male opponents.

Overall, I’m really pleased with how it turned out. I’ve learned a lot from this project, especially when it comes to handling larger motions, such as transitioning between poses rather than only relying on looping animations. However, the biggest challenge with this type of content is the time investment. Creating this animated scene took about six times longer than making a static orbit camera scene. While I won’t abandon the idea of longer animations, they will likely be less frequent due to the time required.
