So as mentioned in the chapter you, the wonderful audience members have the choice on what Taylor's squad of six members will be named.We're going to have a preliminary Poll since there are three options, least popular option goes away then we have the final round between the remaining two. Please feel free to give your suggestions for names if you have any, if they're popular enough I'll put them up on another poll to see if they make the cut as well.

Names out of myth and legend seems a bit pretentious for a new squad. Using the names of parahumans would be confusing and I don't think they'd be a good fit. Spiders have some neat names you could use.

Spiders has the wrong feeling, I think. Too much comparison to them being nothing more than extensions of Taylor’s will instead of having their own identities, which is the exact opposite of what Taylor would want. Naming them after actual Worm characters would just be *weird* I think, though, for Taylor. Her being a literature professor’s kid, I think naming them after classical figures makes the most sense

i agree with this,naming them after spiders makes it seem like they are expendable like the rest of her swarm not human beings regardless of their origins

Oh! Maybe author names as an ode Annette. Could get some character handles on the clones depending on the genre/famous work etc.

I like the idea of taking names from Earth literature. But classic works. Like: Val Jean, Aramis, Edmond. Things like that.

I also like the idea of Earth literature, but i was thinking more like authors. Lovecraft, Dickens, and the like.

I voted for spider names because of the given options, they’re the best. However, I agree with other commenters. Literature names would be best. Dahl, Heinlen, Lovecraft, Verne. Or possibly characters from literature or pop culture. Potter, Snow, Jackson, Harris, Wonka, Stark.

If there were four of them, I would not hesitate to give them names - Athos, Parthos, Aramis and Darth'anyan. But since there are more of them, it is best to take some heroes of the novel who survived. since they are the last survivors. and I gave my voice to spiders, I hope you will also add the names of beetles and butterflies

So I stopped reading after ch56 because I needed to read it all in one go, and I have to say that entire battle was a thing of beauty. I mean it's terrible that so many died and that this is definitely a loss for the good guys, but it was beautiful nonetheless. And that moment of pure glory. Ah, damn near brought a tear to my eye. A thousand lightsabers rising from the fallen to keep fighting. Beautiful.

I'd go with classical heroes. Spiders might seem in theme, but IMO, Taylor uses and expends her swarm as needed, and I think her character development would see her wanting to, even by name, differentiate between people and her insect minions.
